We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesThe AC was not working when we arrived which in late July/August it’s hot and humid. Some rooms were cold but master bedroom upstairs and living area downstairs were extremely hot and no air was blowing out of those vents. We did contact the owner and she did send someone right away to fix it and thankfully it cooled the house quickly. There was a pool and there were 2 large beehives or wasps nests on the exterior of the home, there was spray for them but we weren’t going to change aggravating a swarm of them. The stairs leading to all the bedrooms was really steep more so than other rental homes. The master bedroom shower never got hot water like the valve was messed up maybe but other faucets and sinks did have hot water but not the master shower. The smoke alarm had a beeping battery the entire time we stayed as the owners had not changed it out. The front door was really really hard to open and close and took a good hard push to open and pull to shut. The master and one of the rooms did not have comforters just sheets and a thin throw blanket. There were some basic pots, utensils, dishware and glasses. No type of cleaning supplies like dishwasher liquid or pods but we were told to run a load of dishes in it before we left. No type of cleaning spray or disinfectant wipes to clean the counters or table area. Minimal trash bags, which we ran out of being we were there for 5 days with 10 people. Not many trash cans through the home, just kitchen and bathrooms none in bedrooms. The ceiling fan in one room did not work well at all. The home definitely needs to be more renter accommodating and mention of the steep stairs as it helpful for those that might struggle a little more with stairs.
The house was in a great area close to lots of shops and stores. The pool was big for the kids.

United StatesEverything was great! We would’ve loved one more trash bin considering we made a lot of trash due to us doing home cooked meals everyday but other than that, it was great.
The back yard, the pool and the home itself was amazing for the price.

United StatesThe property was not cleaned well, and I paid $50 more for an early check in! I was unable to use the refrigerator due to a foul odor. The smell spread throughout the entire level, and I had to buy candles to disguise the fishy odor. I had to clean windows, the glass dining table and sweep the floors. The red sofa is so disgusting and filthy, you don’t want to sit on it! I notified the owner, but she did not remedy the situation and we were grossly inconvenienced. Although the pool was great, the landscaping left a lot to be desired, and the grass needed mowing. Bottom line, the price was remarkably low for the amenities offered, but the pictures don’t capture the true essence of the low comfort level and cleanliness. The old adage applies…you get what you pay for! It could be a nice rental, but I wouldn’t return without serious improvements!

United StatesWe had to clean the house when we arrived, including wiping down the cabinets with jelly, sweeping the floor, and wiping down the bathrooms and kitchen, as we didn't want our other guests with us to feel uncomfortable.
The host was helpful, and the directions were easy to follow.
