Very clean and comfortable. The members of the staff were all friendly. The best part is the location right on the waterfront of Monterey Bay! We couldn’t have asked for better weather.

Honestly everything was lovely. It is an inn and not a hotel so if you like clean and minimal aesthetics this isn't your place. We liked the cornice boards and drapery above the bed.

We got a corner room with a balcony overlooking Cannery Row. It was very lively and busy during the day but with the 10pm ordinance in place the street was completely quiet so best of both worlds if you're there for the aquarium etc.

The original room we booked did not look like the picture online and was extremely cramped plus had a weird moldy smell. They let us pay to upgrade and that was amazing.

The room on the second floor with two queen beds and window to sea and fireplace was exquisite.

The only thing I would ask is to have a filtered water fill up station on one of the floors so we don't have to use plastic water bottles.

The room was so cute and although it wasn't ocean-facing, it was quiet and very comfy. The morning breakfast service was such a great start to the day and the staff was attentive.

A bit noisy at times not necessarily the fault of Spindrift but the proximity to businesses. The water pressure could be improved in the bathrooms. It's expensive, extra fees for ocean view rooms.

The Spindrift is an excellent location. The staff members provide excellent customer service. Ocean views were spectacular.

The inn is right on the beach. The room was comfortable and thoughtfully laid out. Staff were helpful and we loved the room service breakfast each morning. I can’t say enough good things about this gorgeous place. Highly recommend.

Although we really liked the option of breakfast delivered to the room instead of a nasty buffet, as vegans, we ended up with just a few slices of fruit and a baby's serving of Raisin Bran as our whole meal.

The hotel was very nice and clean and the location right on Cannery Row was ideal. We were greeted with wine and snacks when we checked in and there was a free room-service breakfast in the morning which is a huge improvement from the usual downstairs buffet were you have to take food that has already been picked over by a bunch of unwashed children.

Really enjoyed our stay at Spindrift. Friendly & helpful staff. Lovely comfortable room with a ceiling fan. Our room overlooked the main road but the sound proofing was excellent. Really appreciated the breakfast options. The cheese & wine in the afternoons were an unexpected bonus! We opted for valet parking which although a little pricey was very convenient & flexible and for us a better option than garage parking.

Excellent location directly on Cannery Row with a short walk to the amazing Monterey Bay Aquarium. Great view of the bay from our room which had a comfortable bed and a working gas fireplace. The staff was friendly and attentive.
