Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Breakfast area was not very clean. Had to clean own table and wished the floor could be swept. (Kid, but not adult friendly) Beds were made with sheets and covers only 1/2 way up the bed. Provided only single towel per person. Refrigerator did not have any freezer area. Fairly expensive given the

NOT a thing!
The hotel exceeded my expectations. Absolutely a pleasure staying there. Felt like a queen! The staff was so caring and the facility was immaculate. The swimming pool and hot tub were wonderful. Would absolutely stay here again the next time I am in Bellingham.

Some damage to walls in rooms and blackout curtains didn't close completely, letting some light in, but mostly the place was in really good shape.
Great place for families. Pool opens at 6. Breakfast was decent and easy. Laundry on site. Locked garage for safe overnight parking.

I brought my Nespresso machine, and was glad I did, I would have been happy with a Keurig but no, so an upgrade for better coffee machine would be great. Next time I'll ask for a room in the back with a view of the Cascades, Other than that it was really great.
The room layout was ideal for our needs, with a separate sitting area with TV and desk area, and the separate bathrooms (toilet/sink and shower/sink). the heating system was quiet and accurate, and the extra blanket was nice (we like to sleep in a cool room). The hot tub was wonderfully hot and the whole pool room was pleasantly warm and steamy because of it; the breakfast was a nice plus, and cheerful in the morning, the typical and abundant hotel breakfast. I also really appreciated the earlier check in at 3:00, and later checkout at 12:00. That was really helpful. We were overlooking the main parking in front, but that was not a problem, super quiet anyway. Will definitely book here again.

Very noisy, guess seemingly unconcerned about the people below them, which was me. Difficult to sleep because of constant noise from several different guest. Reported to the desk and even went upstairs three times myself to speak to the guest about their noise and about children running around at 1:30 in the morning.

Room lighting could have been better. Reading light over bed burned out. The toilet is far too low-I know there are tangible reasons behind the low boy style, but it’s seriously difficult for older people to sit on it! Both the toilet and the shower need a grab bar. Old people! In-room coffee was limited to Decaf. Yuck! No vending machines on floors. Sometimes you need a Coke without going to the lobby. Overcharge on my credit without explanation. I assume a $28 credit will show up, but say so on my bill. I tried to charge my smart watch by using the USB port on the alarm clock. But by morning I realized the alarm clock was not plugged in. There should be charging stations throughout the room. (This is 2024). The room was thoroughly clean, which I appreciate, but I expected more from a Marriott property.
