The room was small. The toilet and vanity were not in separate areas. I had to wait to use the mirror if someone was showering. Needed a separate vanity. The extra pull out trundle was awful. You could feel the springs in the mattress.

I'm 80 years old with some mobility issues. The first room I was in had only one grab bar and very slippery tub floor when wet and soapy. The staff graciously moved me to a 'handicap' room which was a great improvement from a safety perspective. However, it still had a tub I had to climb in and out of, though lots of grab bars. Secondly the bed was entirely too high for me to get into without fall risk. Lastly, the lighting was very poor. even with all the lights on, it was very dim in the room.

Breakfast was good, staff helpful and friendly. I chose the location, so it met my needs.

The room looked partly cleaned. Mainly the glass in the room. Spots on glass that looked like someone was using the room desk divider as a target for spit wads. The ice bucket looked like it had mold in it. Wasn’t pretty, didn’t us. Also felt the breakfasts were too short of hours.

Customer service by front desk & cleaning service was great. Handled any issues we had & were very friendly. The property was clean & being restored. There was shopping (clothes & grocery) & restaurants in walkable distance. There was plenty of parking & easy to get Ubers. The room had a frig, microwave, coffee maker, & hair dryer, comfy beds, & pool.

2x they didn't clean our room. We were there 4 nights, so they should have done it every other day. Even after asking the night receptionist to make a note.

Had trouble checking out with Karmel he kept telling me my CC was declined. I called CC company and it was fine. It was obviously a problem on their end and he made me wait while he waited on another customer instead of completing my transaction first. Very frustrating.

Went out to pool & the bar that was on the steps was very unstable. Someone will get hurt. Needs to be secured or replaced! The lady with me is older & was afraid she would fall!

The bathtub wouldnt drain fast so I was standing in water while taking a shower. Also, the sink was wobbly and It was hard to change the hot and cold.

Stayed here for the night before my wedding and the room was very clean and spacious and fit a lot of people. The front desk people were really nice!

Elevators had a bad smell amd no circulation. Coffee was in the lobby but ONLY fresh and MADE except breakfast. Could not get the refrigerator to stay could for more than 2 hours.

Loved the pillows and the bed! Felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. Loved the modern set up and the updated shower.

Layout of the room. If someone got up earlier than everyone else, they woke everyone up going to the bathroom that has glass door at the foot of the bed. Curtains were not hung correctly, so part of the curtain hung past the rod.

The extra comforter in the closet was dirty. It was disgusting. Overall the stay was good. The elevator could have scent plug to make it smell better.

Terrible communication by the assistant manager Razi, and the handling of a booking that was paid twice. Arrived at hotel, to be told the booking was not paid, and that booking.com needed to provide a virtual credit card for the payment to be deducted, however it was provided, but Springhill Suites had attempted to deduct more than what was originally prepaid/booked for, hence why the payment I made was not showing. When I originally handed over my credit card on checkin, I had assumed that it was just going to be for the standard holding fee as most hotels would normally do. The front desk receptionist at the time had not discussed anything about taking out the full amount or explained what my credit card was going to be charged and just took the extra payment, although I had already paid it online. I did not even register this until afterwards and I checked my online bank account. On reflection, I should have questioned why they needed my credit card again although already having fully being paid - but after a long international travel from New Zealand plus domestic travel (almost 19 hours of travelling) and baggage not arriving from a domestic flight from Houston to Dallas (which was another issue), the “brain” was absolutely not working! Once the problem had been discovered, this is when the nightmare began in trying to get it resolved with Razi, the assistant manager. Had seen the assistant manager twice the following day to get it resolved, and he advised that he was working on it. Went to reception later that afternoon a third time to find out what the progress was, only to be told by reception that he had gone home for the day and would not be back til Wednesday, knowing that we were checking out on the Monday (2 days prior)!!!!!!!
