The amenities of the room. There were only two small drawers for clothing. We lived out of our suitcases for a week. The opening to cut the shower on was at the far end of the stall and not near the knobs where it should be. You literally got wet cutting it on. The couch was on a wall that faced the small semi-kitchen area, and the TV was not visible from there. Had to sit on the bed for viewing. Bad design.

The location. Near the highway for traveling purposes. A good selection of restaurants for food.

the security guard walked past my door as my baby was crying and knocked on our door and told us to keep it down because she was too loud not understanding that shes only a baby. but the next day there were kids running up and down the hallways, waking my family, screaming, knocking on doors, tracking water everywhere from the pool, hogging the dining room , parents in front of our door arguing at 3am as we were trying to sleep before church in the morning; and no one said anything about it they were kind of just letting it happen so a weekend of PEACE was not given like my husband and i intended. but other than that the stay was still pretty cool. great area. everything's nearby.

The outside of the building didn’t match the recently renovated inside. The cleanliness of the hot tub was lacking. The continental breakfast left 2/4 of us still hungry.

Central to shopping and downtown. The inside lobby and guest rooms were fresh and clean.

Some improvements can be done as below. a) The lighting arrangement in the suites was quite dim. It was difficult to read/write in such dim light at times. pls think of improvement in this area. The lighting arrangement should be bright. b) Breakfast should have variety and include vegetable items (Vegan food). almost everyday, same menu was served in breakfast c) Ironing machine for clothes which was located in the room was not working properly (was not getting hot to iron out clothes) d) Coffee machine OFF-switch was not working properly. i had to manually, remove the power-plug from the socket to switch it off. e) Room cleaning used to happen only alternate days (where as expectation was daily cleaning)

Breakfast menu was good and Location was close to my company and so easier to travel.

Our bathroom was not very clean, hair around the floor, in the shower, and around the sink. The pool was too chilly.

Our first time staying at SpringHill Suites Southfield and the location and hotel was great. The hotel and our room was clean and the staff was attentive, also the complimentary hot breakfast selection and parking was nice (other good food options also close by). We would easily stay at this hotel again.

Staybridge failed to mention they were renovating rooms on the first floor. They gave me a room on the same floor and of course I had to deal with passing the workers along with the noise
