Nothing wrong about property but I just got a bad 2 nights because I was next to the room 108 and they been talking and make some noise.I went out to the front desk at 12:30am to let them know that me and my son can’t sleep because of noise. The lady at front desk said she will do something. I’m decided to come back and wait after 30 mins later still nothing. The person in room 108 still talking and laughing, I decided to calling the front desk again and I heard the phone at room 108 ringing after they hang up the phone the noise was quiet in the next 20 mins.

Cons: The room was smaller than I expected. It was in a long rectangular shape. Our room looks out to the very tiny swimming pool so we had to draw the curtain close the whole time for privacy. I'd imagine it be much nosier in the summer time when more guests use the pool. When I booked, it says 2 queen beds but I think they are more full size beds. The biggest complaint I have is that the bathroom uses a barn door with an opaque glass. Never mind the fact that you cannot lock the door and lacks privacy, the biggest issue is that light can come through the opaque glass. So if we want to use the bathroom when my kids are sleeping, we had to do it in the dark or wake everyone else up with the light (the light is very bright and not adjustable). I didn't like the barn door but I could understand it was for space-saving purpose, but it would be better if they can change out the type of barn door to minimize the light coming through.

Pros: Great location. It was across the street from the beach/beach access and also one block over from the Carlsbad village. Very convenient. The area feels safe generally and there are a lot of great restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast is pretty good for free hotel breakfast standard. A nice variety of options and a waffle maker so make fresh waffles. I particular liked that the dining area is spacious and there isn't a crazy long line for breakfast (we were here in mid-Feb). The staff is very nice. The hotel is clean. We had no problem with find a parking spot in the underground parking garage. We had a room with 2 double beds on the first floor. It was relatively quiet. Occasionally we heard people talking right outside our door but it's not frequent and not outside of what you would reasonably expect.

Great location virtually on the beach in the village of Carlsbad. Excellent amenities. Walk around the village for a little shopping. Cute boutiques close by! Priced well. Queen suites slightly larger than kings. Staff are all kind. And restaurant attached to the hotel. Includes breakfast near the lobby. Would stay again!

Nothing everything was wonderful

Location was amazing, breakfast was delicious Staff courteous and helpful We’re planning another trip soon. Once we parked we could walk to beach and town within minutes. Beautiful

The head guy at the Tower 39 bistro was extremely rude.

The hotel staff is awesome. Very helpful and friendly. The staff at the Tower 39 rooftop were especially great after the long day we had.

Beds were a bit low and hard but pretty typical. Bathroom door was barn type and did not completely block view from bed area. No separation of toilet from the rest of the bathroom. Would prefer more bathroom privacy in general.

Location was excellent. Staff were good. Shower was excellent and super clean. Sitting area was nice to have.

The location is great, right on the beach. The hotel is very clean and the staff were also very nice. I would come here again. Breakfast was very good. The only thing I was missing at breakfast was pickles or sliced cheese but it may be that it is unusual in America. (ps. I am from Germany)

The room is not cleaned every day, and the floor needs a carpet at least by the beds. Did not feel cleaned well.

excellent breakfast, plenty of food and the service was incredible good. The PROBLEM was too many kids and not enough places to sit, very very loud. It has to be away to control all of that.

I can't say there was anything.

It was quiet for the most part, close to everything and aimed at adult clientele. There is also a place to grab a drink and snacks with an awesome view. Staff were great and very accommodating. Great atmosphere.

The rooms are beautiful, however my only complaint about our whole stay was the bathroom door. The barn door wasn't the problem, but the frosted glass (although it was pretty) didn't hold in any light at all. So in the middle of the night when my daughter got up to use the bathroom, the door was closed and the entire room was completely lit up - waking us all up. That was pretty annoying!

The location was perfect, the rooms were spacious, and the breakfast was great.
