The main issues we encountered were that 1) of the three treadmills and two ellipticals in the gym, only one treadmill worked. You could still jog on the ellipticals, but none of the buttons or screens worked so you could not track your time, program a workout, or change the resistance. However, there were plenty of weights to use. 2) There was an extra charge for parking, even though there was plenty of parking around the periphery of the property. And, with the parking charge, it would seem they could hire a security guard to monitor the lot during the night (which they did not).

Overall the facility was well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds were attractive with a cute little pool, and the lobby and eating area were clean, with interesting decor and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the trees and bushes. The breakfast was a bit hit-and-miss, with some offerings that were delicious (e.g., they had a plethora of yummy toppings for yogurt and oatmeal, and they had a really good cheese & jalapeno souffle, as well as croissant sandwiches and egg and kale muffins), but the scrambled eggs were extremely overcooked. The rooms were comfortable, including the beds and pillows, and there was plenty of space for a group. If desired, you could fit a group in one room (we had a room with two double beds and a trundle bed under the couch).

Paying $10.00 per night to park at a hotel you’re staying at is a bit much to me. It’s not like it’s valet parking or in a secure parking garage.

We expected soft beds because of what the reviews said. The toilet and sink were in separate areas making it difficult to wash hands after using the bathroom.

The local was good. Right off the interstate, easy on and off. Quiet rooms, easy to contact front desk for new iron. The staff was exceptional. Everyone at check in was friendly and helpful. They were happy to have us staying there.

You need to be aware that getting to downtown Dallas requires using Uber / Lyft or a taxi, and does take 20-30 minutes.

It was our second stay in the same week. We came back although we had cheaper options since we loved the first stay. Breakfast gives you an excellent start of the day. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are big and clean.

We visited for the Eclipse - probably the busiest weekend for the hotel - it was a bit hectic and clearly the hotel was overwhelmed but everyone was helpful and courteous. I was glad we booked a hotel with a pool.
