• The hotel is quite far from the beach — about a 20–25 minute drive. • The coffee at breakfast was not good at all. • The housekeeping staff started rushing us to check out. Even though checkout was at 12, they started asking us if we were leaving around 11.

Overall, we were mostly satisfied with our stay. The room was clean, and the staff knew how to handle the personal tax exemption process, which was very helpful. Breakfast was available, and checkout time was at 12 PM.

Needs thicker pillows.

They were able to accommodate us on short notice when our Airbnb fell through. The staff was very friendly upon check-in. The staff was prompt with any needs that we requested.

We had a room facing the pool. Would not recommend this. Music played all night long at the pool. The beat/sound kept us awake. Dont understand why this was necessary. Complained and all they did was turn down the volume.

Unfortunately, we arrived at this SpringHill Suites as work was beginning on the swimming pool. So, we did not have the chance to enjoy the pool.

The location was excellent as it was only a few minutes from the airport. We ate breakfast each morning my wife and I were at this SpringHill Suites. The guest room was very comfortable and quiet.

Went down for breakfast at 9:30am on a Sunday and everything was gone. I’ve stayed at several SpringHill Suites other than this one and I was disappointed with the breakfast choices that were available.

There were a few issues during our stay. 1. The room door was not opening and/or locking properly, I had to go to the front desk to get maintenance to check on it, as my belongings were not secured if and when I left. 2. One of the family members' room A/C was leaking, and the carpet was wet, the room smelled of wet carpet and mold. 3. Another family members' bathroom tub was not draning properly and it was clogging 5 mins into their shower 4. The breakfast was ok but not great, some of the items offered were cold, including the coffee and it was waaaaay to strong no amount of milk would help, and some items were not refilled adequately, the waffle maker was not working (that was a big let down as we had small children with us).

I loved the location of the Hotel, it is near restuarants, entertainment and not too far from the beach which was the main purpose of our visit to Sarasota.

I was unable to connect my tablet to the unsecured network, that was frustrating. And I have to say that the breakfast situation was not optimal, way too many unruly kids running wild, touching everything with their fingers, throwing tantrums in the dining room. Let's just say that could be handled a lot better. I love kids, but they don't need to get their way all the time, especially not in a hotel setting.

Location was excellent, 5 minutes to get to the Ringling Museum, all sorts of restaurants within a mile or two. The room was quiet and we got a good night's rest, just what we needed after a day of sightseeing.

We got charged the whole time we were there(the hotel was already paid for) and then 3 days after checkout got a charge for $730 for no reason. We have disputed it and they are working on a refund but it has been almost a month and it is still not fully fixed. Would not recommend staying here they took a total of almost $2000 between what we paid for the room and the random charges after. Like I said they are fixing it but it is still ridiculous to be charged that much in the first place for no reason.

When we arrived, our room was not clean. The elevator frequently made loud noises and sometimes shook strangely while beginning and ending it's trips between floors. At times, we did not have enough towels or were missing the floor mat in the bathroom and needed to improvise sheets and blankets for the trundle bed.

Great location and easy access to the places we were visiting. Nice to have a space for our children to sleep and privacy for the older family members who wanted to stay up a little later.

mopping floors in the early morning...should be done late at night...wet floors could be dangerous. kleenex and toilet tissue paper thin. Checked in on a Monday, room wasn't serviced until Thursday upon my request.

Elevator was out of service. Was told it was out of service for several weeks. There was no notice of the issue on the hotel site or on Booking.com. Washer and dryer were removed and no alternative was available.

We were there due to a flight cancellation in St. Pete, we booked a flight out the next evening and ubered to Sarasota, we checked in at 10:30, the lady was so sweet(Friday 7/12) and the lady the morning of Saturday 7/13 was wonderful! She accommodated us until 6:30 without making us pay for a full night. The breakfast was great and overall this hotel turned a stressful experience into a fun one. Thank you!!
