Very good, location, food in adjacent coffee shop was excellent, fresh and interesting. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice area in back of the property with tables, chairs, and a delightful beach.

Clean, comfortable, great view of lake with private beach. The owners are wonderful people and the attached coffee shop was an added bonus. Probably no better value in Door County that offers such a great view and access to the beach.

The location, right on the lake with a private beach was amazing. The hosts were also incredible and kind, giving us excellent suggestions for restaurants and activities, and generally creating a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The lodge’s cafe served mouthwatering scones!

The location was fantastic! Beautiful view from the lodge to the lake. The staff was amazing. They were so helpful and friendly. Had a private beach area with a few lounge chairs. The attached restaurant was wonderful. Had small plates available in the evenings. The crab cakes were delicious. A great place for breakfast in the morning also. Our room was clean with everything we needed. No microwave in the room but we used the one in the office and the lady at the desk even went into the restaurant and got us salt & pepper! I highly recommend staying here while in Door Co. Not far from all activities. We really enjoyed going down to the beach area and sitting in the evening. Would be great for sunrise, too!

The setting was perfect with a full view of Lake Michigan. A beautiful sand beach for walking,lounge chairs on the beach. Quiet, out of the crowd area of Door County.

Beautiful private beach. We came after labor day so it was very quiet. We enjoyed the small plate options. There is a little store a couple of doors down, two restaurants within walking distance and a lakeside park that had a farmers market. Nice family run hotel.
