The room seem small for the price, the room didn’t have microwave and the closest one was in the hallway past the lobby, I stayed on the 6th floor—inconvenient. The beds were hard, not comfy

I love the atmosphere, the food, the friendly staff

The best part of the building the main hall which was also the young and bar area was blocked off Friday evening through to Sunday morning for a wedding The reception was very poor and not very welcoming There was very little to do in the immediate vicinity and lots of the restaurants and shops further down towards the river had closed down

The building was very beautiful and the room was spacious

The receptionist was a little bit confusing to find on our first day

Closer to train station. Staff was very nice except for the security at the executive breakfast area on Sunday am was being rude to customers. Water bottle was available, easy to get and we didn’t have to buy it.

Though they were working very hard -it seemed the valet staff were overwhelmed! (Maybe more staff during check out time?)

Parking/Entry to the hotel isn't well marked and congested. We had to repeatedly ask for more towels to be brought up after housekeeping never came and when they finally did bring them it wasn't enough so we still had to go back down to the desk and request more. There were 2 wash cloths left from the previous guest in the shower but the room was otherwise clean. The conferences/weddings/events clearly take precedence which is understandable but you lose access to certain areas (i.e. the Grand Ballroom with the light show) which is a bummer.

The property is beautiful. In historic Union Station, you have the beautiful architecture with modern amenities. The location in downtown STL is great and the the Union Station complex offers a lot of family friendly activities. The light show on the ceiling of the Grand Ballroom was magical and my son was in awe.

Would have been nice to have some additional discounts to the things at Union Station, especially when traveling with kids.

Great location to do so much! We were able to walk everywhere for the 3 days we stayed (city museum, Gateway Arch, hockey stadium). Plenty of amenities to stay at the property and not have to go out (it was down pouring a whole day and we were able to get all meals there without having to to take kids out in the rain).

Expensive, but also to be expected, to an extent. Water pressure was not hard enough for our liking but was fine enough.

Loved location and bars/restaurants on site. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Would stay again despite our personal "cons."

I read one of the papers that said quick checkout and just leave your room key in the room. That's the WORST thing you can do at this place because you NEED those room keys to get in and out. I got locked out of one area and couldn't get back in! It was 15 degrees and I was locked out with an 8yr old with no coat. I will go back to the aquarium but I'm done with the hotel Also my room had no hair conditioner or hair dryer and it was 15 degrees outside. My long hair was a head full of wet knots.

I liked the beds more than anything. The hotel is beautiful.

The lack of additional attractions and emptiness. The loud music from private events, while other guests such as myself self are trying to sleep.

This is not a cheap hotel, you're paying for the experience too.

Gentle staff of whom some still give you the immpression you're still at a station, easy to find location, spacious rooms, clean rooms and good choise of food at breakfast. The building is amazing, with a nice light show in the grand hall.
