I did NOT like how the air conditioning blew so hard out of the register onto me while I laid in bed. The air was so aggressive and cold that I wanted to sleep with the blankets over my head. There needs to be a way to turn the register closed to preferred preference. That was terrible! But it was too hot to turn the air off entirely.

The toilet sits extremely very low.. no bar to assist in getting up. The breakfast bar was low supplied and out of food and it was cold. There is a need for 2 more waffle machines as that seemed to be a favorite of clients. I asked to have reservations for the coming year.. seemed to be a difficult task to complete. Reservation not made. Asked for contact.. I was given a number but not a direct line. They could not make reservations either. ODD!

The places that should have been kept up on frequently like the pool and fitness center and laundry were lacking a bit in service. Towels were rarely stocked and jacuzzi was about 75 percent efficient. However when you informed the staff they were quick to get to those needed items. Our biggest maintanence issue was the electric sink compactor. It was not working so the sink backed up frequently.

Check in took too long. The breakfast was not what I am used to as far as quality. The queen bed was a little hard and the A/C system being in a closet next to the bed was kinda loud. I kinda had the impression that there was some pot smoking going on in and around the property.

The staff were personable and polite. The room was basically clean and outfitted well. It was located in a nice area.

the 2 bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms was perfect and very comfortable for a group of girls celebrating. it is a short drive or Uber ride from downtown Grand Rapids, many stores and restaurants are just a couple minutes away. it is a beautiful hotel. the pool looked beautiful, I’m sad we didn’t have time to use it!

Hallways were dirty Needed to be vacuumed and there were pieces of blue tape randomly on the walls.

Little outdated on some things like carpet and whatnot. Oh and the elevator wasn't working right before we left so we had to carry some stuff down the stairs but hopefully they fix it up
