Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

the only real complaint i have is that the pool was dirty
it was a nice inn for the price. great bathroom in the room, very spacious and had a easily accessable shower even for wheelchairs with a disabilty seat. comfortable beds and an ac unit that was easiky adjusted.

There was a gap on the entry door, which let in light. The refrigerator hummed, and with the a/c running the noise level kept waking me up. It took forever to find the hot water setting on the one handled shower! The shower began with lukewarm water, and finally started warming up after several minutes. Bathroom door needs some WD-40, as it squeaked when opening and closing. No coffee packets in the room - had to go to the front desk to get some.
Check in went smoothly, and John welcomed us with a smile! Room was clean and beds were comfy. Parking was convenient, just outside the door. Toilet paper was thicker (thank you!) than the last time we stayed here.

The pool was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. The water was dirty and the pool area was closed.

The tiny bathroom, shower head, and tv signal. The tv signal kept buffering, and it would shut off. We just stopped trying to watch TV.
We liked the a/c, beds, pillows, water pressure, pool, and the faculty.

I reserved 3 units. 1. The fridge wasn't working. Another one, the headshower, was leaking. Minimum things, but the rest was great.
The staff is always great, good breakfast and location.

The breakfast ended at 9 and upon arriving the staff said 10. Instead of leaving the buffet open until it was depleted, it was immediately picked up, including the milk and juice, leaving nothing behind. We arrived at 8:57. The AC unit in our room was barely working and wouldn't cool more than 81°. Was pretty miserably hot until the temps cooled off outside. My nieces room was in very bad shape and they were issued a new one. The new one had no hair dryer.
The bed and pillows were really comfortable. The handicap access room was perfect for wheelchair.

It was a full parking lot but it seemed that the ratio of handicap parking to regular parking, but I could be wrong.
It's an older property but we'll maintained. Staff was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable..

The only negative comment I can make is that the pool could have been cleaned more regularly.
Great property with large, comfortable rooms. Staff is very friendly, and the restaurant and bar are better than we expected. Breakfast was included and was very good quality.

Vaulted ceiling in the room was nice and the room was huge. 1960’s charm. The bathroom was outdated though .

The room we were originally booked into had a shower that didn’t work well and we couldn’t get the water to run hot. However, we went to the desk and they immediately moved us into a different room with a working shower.
Convenient location, staff were lovely and accommodating. Dated property but good value for the money.

They were very accommodating. They were able to keep all of us close by. We had three separate rooms, but we were right there beside each other.

I have no complaints
The room was spacious and clean. We loved the walk in shower. I hate getting to a hotel and finding a tub/shower. Those are usually slippery. The staff was always friendly and the hot breakfast was gravy, biscuits, sausage and pancakes.

The breakfast, while complementary, was pretty limited. OK but not great.

The first rooms remote control didn't work so they moved us to a second one. The staff came in twice to say they didn't think that plumbing work properly, but upon their inspection it did, but by the next morning we could smell the sewer coming up. It was pretty gross. Informed the management we received no compensation or anything. It was probably a health violation amongst other things.
The place was OK. Staff tried the best.
