The bed was not very comfortable. We awoke with lots of body aches. There were no paper towels, no microwave, utensils or dish soap, yet there was a little kitchenette to accommodate such things. The staff was amazing!

This time I decided to stay for a few nights at a cottage for relaxation. It was just what I needed. The rooms are older and some need to be updated and a few repairs are needed, but clean and comfortable. I made new friends at the bar while ordering my lunch and at the free breakfast which by the way was delicious. The woman at the front desk we very pleasant and accommodating with my requests. I will be going back.

I've been to Stroudsmore more times than I can remember. My family and I have gone there for every holiday buffet and it's always a grand display of everything you desire. The place itself is charming and reminds me of a quaint European village. Just beautiful. The grounds are kept spotless. I remember a time when a dress code was in place for the holiday dinners but times have changed.

I wished there was a breakfast and lunch to buy all week. I arrived on Tuesday, no breakfast! A pillow top on mattress would be a nice addition.

Those steps to the first floor weren't good for my husband. He was a trooper, so. No refrigerator in the room. Had to add ice to our cooler.

What a charming place here! Glad we stayed overnight. Love the tiny and cozy room. The walk in shower was great! The king size bed was very comfortable. The buffet was amazing! All that food was good! I enjoyed walking around the area.

Minor things were irksome such as no microwaves in the rooms and no towels in the pool area (though there are towl return bins?) Biggest complaint though is the staff seemed cold throughout.

Beautiful grounds, accommodations and pool- located right outside Stroudsburg, short drive to restaurants, stores, etc. Associated bakery is very very good.

I think the room could use more balanced lighting throughout the room. I would suggest a floor lamp next to the bed as the bed only had one lamp on one side of the bed. Plus I think the lamps could use a 3 way light bulb to dim or brighten the room. Otherwise I loved the room.

I am 79 years old and handicapped. When booking, I was told about the 3 steps up to enter the cabin. I wasn't told about the 350-foot uneven uphill trail I would need to scale and descend to get to the restaurant and parking lot. The room itself was adequate and clean. Bathroom door couldn't close because it had swollen due to moisture exposure. Closet light came on and off various times during the night. Seemed to be haunted, lol. We booked based on high ratings. Overall we were OK with all. Staff are all very nice, so I rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

The bed in room eight was a little hard. I didn't see any individual controls in the room to control the heat. It was a tad on the warm side but overall it was a very nice place

The staff were fantastic as was the breakfast. Got there too late to enjoy the pool but it looked great. The grounds are very nice.

The Room we stayed in was very old. The carpets looked like the hold moisture. They had a demidifer plugged in and running. I had to empty the water tray every four hours. The railings outside the rooms were under repairs. So definitely don't stay in room 39 or 40 cottage until they complete their repairs.

The main building is beautiful. Breakfast was excellent. The waiters are very courteous and service is quite exceptional.

In the the room, there was a non-functioning electrical outlet that appeared to be intentionally disabled. Unfortunately, it was in the most convenient location in the room. Suggest covering it with a flat plate. Had to search around for another outlet and found one behind the dresser. There was also one in the bathroom.

Charm of the Inn, beautiful surroundings, small store to purchase drinks and snacks, able to purchase bakery items that were made by the Stroudsburg bakery nearby, incredibly nice staff.

Dinner was too overpriced and not tasty at all. I would skip that part next time we are at the Inn.

Breakfast was excellent!! Swimming pool and spa were awesome!!! The grounds of the property are beautiful and the inn is close to the Bridal Veil Falls.
