There were not a lot of places to eat nearby.

I checked in late and out fairly early so basically only slept and spent time in the room. The room was what I would expect for a "6" hotel. Room was clean and comfortable.

Bed anx pillows were a bit hard for me. Occasional road nouse, but there's nothing they can do about that. The smoke alarm is sensitive so if you're using the toaster put it under to cooker top extractor fan!

Great size room with goid kitchenette, table to eat at and good shower. You need to ask for kitchenware at reception but they provide a full kit. Great location for us, directly by the number 20 bus route which is about 8 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from downtown. Quiet room for the most part, dark curtains.

The mattress would move off the frame. We rented a kitchenette and no pots/pans, dishes or silverware.

The room had a funky smell, it was pretty bad I had to go buy some air freshener at 1 in the morning at a close by convenience store.

It was just an overnight stay, it was very clean, good staff, nice & friendly. Car security on site.

There was one front desk attendant who wouldn't allow my friend to come up and visit when he had a grocery delivery for me because he forgot his wallet with his I/D. He wasn't spending the night, just visiting. And another one who wanted to charge me $50 because I spilled coffee on my sheets at 5:30 in the morning and didn't report it to the front desk before housekeeping came to my room.

Most of the staff was outstanding, especially the manager, Ruth. There was a laundry room right down the hall from my room.

The mid shift seemed to try and make my stay rather uncomfortable. They tried to charge me an extra $50 for spilling some of my coffee on the sheets one morning, claiming they had to throw them out because they didn't know what it was; to which I replied are you asking me to pay for a set of sheets I don't even get? Then they wouldn't let one of my friends bring up groceries he'd brought me because he didn't have his I/d with him. He wasn't staying overnight, just bringing groceries.

It was fairly secure, even though my bicycle was stolen. And security stopped someone from stealing it twice and neglected to let me know so I could bring it into my room and likely avoid losing it.

The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the requirement to have a "pass" for the parking lot. You didn't have to pay anything, but it was kind of odd to need it for an open lot. It was raining and I had to run out to my car and place it in the windshield.

The hotel was very clean and looked new, more upscale that your typical motel. We booked it for an overnight at the airport before driving back to Houston the next morning and it was great. The hotel was quiet and we slept well.
