Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There was no microwave. I wanted to use the microwave in the office because they had none in the room. The one in the office was broken, I couldn’t even make instant coffee because the microwave was broken.

I didn’t like how the staff wasn’t available most times. The room was okay but the sheets and the towels all had stains on them. The floors were disgusting, and it was obvious it wasn’t cleaned well.
I liked how close it was to the beach.

No internet and it wasn't as clean or well maintained like it used to be . I've stayed here before and it was comfortable and nice the room I had recently was on the third floor and wasn't as nice as the other rooms I've stayed in while on vacation

The room was very nice but had a very musty smell. The next morning when packing up to leave we checked under bed to make sure we didn't leave anything and there was probably a dozen water/Gatorade bottles, socks, pool noodles, dirt, dust and sand. I usually check all this as soon as come into any hotel room but for some reason thought it was a solid frame underneath and never looked. I would have never been able to sleep if i had seen it the night before. Whoever is doing cleaning seems to go right around the bed. You can see the line from broom or mop where the sand/dust begins.
Close to beach and boardwalk. Room was renovated. Check out was st 10 but they let us stay until 10:30 and leave our car parked for a few hours after.

The floors were dirty, couches has crumbs, bathroom had hair on everything, beds were bug free but still had stuff in it & odd stains. its doable but not the best.
I liked how close it was to the boardwalk easy distance good parking if you come before 1pm.

Was not always the cleanest. I had a clean room but my friends did not have the best experiences with theirs.
Location was really nice if you know you will be spending a lot of time on the boardwalk. It was about a block away from the middle of the boardwalk.

Fixing office door
No breakfast they said bc of Covid and people above us were loud n I only slept 2hrs bc the office door squeaks every time people stopped in..Bright light outside door..

Room was advertised on booking.com as 500 sq. ft., but was maybe 250 sq. ft. Bed and couch were fair, not in great shape. Some marks on walls could be touched up.
Located close to beach. Property manager was pleasant and helpful.

The beds were disgusting and full of sand, we didn’t get refills on toilet paper or shampoo or conditioner we only got the leftovers, walls are dirty looks like something splattered on them, the couch had a massive stain on the cushion, they give you a side but nothing too cook with, there wasn’t enough parking in the lot so I had to pay an extra $100 for 4 days of parking.

Needed to ask for towels; only 2 when there were 4 of us. Not very up to date. No bedding for futon We were told we need to get refund from Booking.com since we had car trouble and only stayed one night instead of two.

It was dirty- there was food and dirt on the floor, air conditioner had stuff shoved in it, bathroom towels and the couch were covered in stains. The fridge was not clean.

The room need a good clean, the towels and the sheets need updated is very old.The little kitchen is dirty. The refrigerator fan was incredibly loud and we couldn’t sleep. The room need updates.

They rented to a bunch of teenagers and they kept us up all night for both nights and the room that my daughters were in was not very comfortable at all

The room smelled like mold or mildew. Went out and bought our own linens and towels. Bed sheets were stained. All of our belongings smelled musty when we left.

Smelled like smoke, in a no smoking room. Bed was hard as a rock & sheets & towels were dirty, no microwave. Requested 10-11am check in arrived at that time (drove 3 hours to get there) once arrived was told i had to wait til 3 for house keeping to clean the room.
