Would like suitcase racks in the rooms but no biggie.

It’s a very clean and the beds are comfortable! I don’t have to bend or squat to take a shower, plenty of hot water for showers!

Some visitors used to being pampered at high-end lodgings may miss personal services. It is more a hideaway than a hotel.

An older property that is like an old motor court. Parking is available in front of the rooms, and in a few covered garages. The amenities are few, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Waterloo is an interesting small town, with historical ties to historical figures. The motel is within a few blocks of the quaint downtown streets.

The only marginal downside was strong smell of cleaners that dissipated, but I have a strong nose.

The manager came right up as soon as we pulled in and introduced himself and showed us around. Room is new, redone. Peace is very cute, quaint, nice. Waterloo is wonderful to walk around and everything is within a couple blocks of the Sunset.

Check-in was easy because I had received a text earlier in the day with instructions of which room # and parking options, and the door was unlocked with keys inside ready whenever I arrived. This definitely made check-in easy and effortless, but as a woman traveling alone I was uneasy not seeing any staff or knowing where things like ice and nearby restaurants, etc were. And not knowing anything about the area I didn't know if it was safe to venture out and walk around town or even where to go. I could have texted any questions and gotten a response immediately, which was very nice, but had there been an office and a visible person to connect with I would have felt safer.

It was very clean and the staff were very kind and quick to respond to messages. It's a beautiful town in a friendly and safe area. It had a frig, microwave, and coffee maker with a couple water bottles, which was super thoughtful! There is on-site laundry facilities and ice machine.

The only thing I can think of is that there weren’t any curtains on the bedroom window.

We really liked the property and how convenient it was to everything!! It was very clean, comfortable, nice, homey and welcoming. It was exactly what we needed. I also loved the fact that The Coffee Girl was within a 500 ft walk!!

hidden gem of a old school small town hotel. Great location with plenty of neat places to visit, restaurants, and bars within walking distance. Exceptional friendly staff, very clean and well worth the visit. highly recommend 👌

This motel is the best kept secret in Waterloo and consistently exceeds expectations during every visit. The accommodations (both bedroom and bathroom) upon arrival were noticeably clean, and very comfortable beds!

There was not a map of the the motel so it did take me a minute to find the ice machine that was located in the laundry room, but not a huge deal.

I liked that the room was ready before check-in and recieved instructions via text on how to access the room without physically checking in at the front desk. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable for a great value. And an awesome location near nightlife in downtown Waterloo which is why we stayed.

I always stay here on my trips to Waterloo. Always find a clean, homey space. It is a block from the main business district. While are no extra amenities like breakfast, it is a very convenient space in town and a great place if you just need to put your head on a pillow for the night.

Clean facilities, great shower! Nice height for me I’m 6 ‘ tall and could stand and shower! Nice hot water for the entire shower! Great location for what we were doing

Great location, very clean and new rooms with historic motel charms (carport, keys, coziness). In walking distance to shopping, dining, drinking; very friendly family was operating it. Great for a weekend trip!
