Our room smelt like marijuana. They did not provide continental breakfast only coffee and granola bars.

The room could have been cleaner. The furniture is worn down and outdated. There was only one nightstand on one side of the bed.

The location was great for my family. We could see the mackinaw bridge and the lake from our room window. Close to food and shopping.

Very little parking, and no microwave in the room. Also our room door lock was loose and not working very well. This was on our stay on 8/13, also the bathroom vent fan was very loud like something was wrong with the motor.

The room was clean, but it was on the 3rd floor and I had requested a 1st floor room. But I guess with the elevator it worked out. This was the 2nd time we stayed on this trip. The 1st time we stayed, we were on the 2nd floor.

Many people noted the rude front desk staff here. I want to be more specific. The blonde woman working at the desk has no business working in customer service. Right from the start she was awful and we had the fight to keep her from ruining our day with her attitude. Second day, same attitude. This is just how she operates and it is a bad face for this establishment. Other staffers were fine. While not horrible, the room did have some off-putting smells. This is a pet friendly hotel as we could see many people with dogs. This could be the source of the odors? Carpet seemed damp. If you stay here bring some sandals or slippers to walk around in

The screens were ripped so we couldn't have the windows open. The bed did not have a fitted sheet on it. Water damage on the wall probably from the AC unit. Some of the outlets did not work. Some of the lights did not even work.

The view from our balcony was amazing. We could see the Mackinac Bridge.

Water barely got warm, showers were barely tolerable and water for washing hands wouldn’t warm up unless you let it run for literally a few minutes. WiFi was advertised but not working.

Outside doors were available for traveling with pets. Large rooms. There was quite a few unexpected perks offered.

The pool and hot tub could have been better. The hot tub didn't work and the pool was freezing.

Wish there would have been something to use the toaster. Was told about the toaster they had a couple of times but no bread or bagels. those would have been nice tohave.

The bathroom sink was in your lap when using the toilet, and there was no fan in the bathroom, so it steamed up bad when taking a shower. The room was a little outdated but comfortable. There wasn't great parking. There were a couple big trailers and a large van taking up spots that should've been used for guest parking. Carpet had big rips in the upper floor and was green and mildewed in spots.

I did not like having to use steps to get to my room.

There was no breakfast. There was a bar of some sort in the coffee room. I was very disappointed. I have been staying at Mariotts and they provide a full breakfast. Was very disappointed because I have to eat in order to take my medicine. I am a cancer patient.
