How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I got this hotel because of the pool and breakfast which neither where available they should have put that as unavailable for remodeling. The floors in the room where sticky

Had we known breakfast and pool were not available would have stayed elsewhere
I booked this hotel due to complimentary breakfast advertised and pool. Complimentary breakfast is very convenient and we planned to utilize pool. Not until after we got there were we told no pool, no breakfast! Very disappointing

The room is full of paint odor. There was no breakfast although it was included while booking.
The location is fine. The price is fare.

The property is under remodeling & they have the lobby area close & the 2nd floor, the ice machines don’t work but they don’t say anything on their page. There was no breakfast due to the lobby being under remolding. Also everything was dirty, even the rooms, there’s a lot of dust on the floor due to all the construction they’re doing in there.
The bed was comfortable, the restroom was clean.

Other than advertised there was no breakfast available at all. If you’re looking for that - like us - we strongly recommend to book your stay somewhere else.

Attendant lacked basic people skills.
TV did not work and attendant at front desk did not make an effort to correct the problem. At one point I was ignored for over 15 minutes when I went to the front desk to complain and ask that I get a TV that works.

Couldn't swim because the pool was green. There was no breakfast because they were renovating. And the cable and the phone in the room didn't work, and they never came to let me know why.

Things that you offered and don't have, I understand the facilities need some work but don't even a warm coffee was offered to feel more welcoming the people
The reason why we selected this hotel was becuse offer breakfast, that didn't happen breakfast room was closed, we can't watch t.v, pool very dirty

When we got there our room wasn't ready at all we had to wait for it to be cleaned, even when it was clean it felt so dirty I'm pretty sure they didn't even change the sheets and the curtains were stained with red stuff I won't be coming back to this motel

They advertise breakfast and a pool. There is no breakfast and pool was empty. The hallways were dirty. Ice machine on first floor is not working properly, however, a 2nd floor ice machine was working. Back entrance was not secured due to the key card pad not working. Lamp (and therefore USB/power outlets) was not working in one of the rooms, which is very important when needing to charge phones, etc. Will probably not stay at any Super 8's in the future.
The beds were comfortable and the hotel is close to the park.

When I booked, in all information and my confirmation it stated breakfast was included. After charging my credit card I was told there was no breakfast. I was not offered free cancellation or a discounted price. The space arrangement in the room makes using the desk and chair difficult. There were holes in the bedspread. The lamp on the window side of the bed did not work even after replacing the light bulb. It did seem to be plugged into the wall.
Great location for visiting Carlsbad Caverns NP and Guadeloupe NP; Recently updated/ remodeled bathroom, bed and art; in room coffee good: refrigerator; microwave; clean with daily service

The curtains in the room were broken so they couldn't be shut. The staff was nice to give us an extra bedspread to hang over the window., but we had to get up on a chair to do that. Also, they advertised breakfast but when we go there, they said there was no breakfast.
