How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

An expansion of the lobby area would be nice in the future. Decent location.
Nice staff. I would say that they did a lot with very little. It wasn't fancy, but it was clean and organized and they did the best they could with that they had.

It is in a good location near many stores and restaurants, Costco, pharmacy etc.

Breakfast very limited and ended too early, cell phone reception very poor

Our remote was missing from the room so one of the staff had to go find one a few hours later finally got one then asked...wasn't it laying on the table ...well no it wasn't even in the room 😒
The staff was friendly, and the room was nice. Breakfast was a grab and go and something to tie you over till you got to your breakfast destination. We grabbed some of the items to snack on later while watching TV.

There was nothing really lacking or negative. We were only there for a one night stay for an early appointment. It was a pleasant experience and well above average in terms of cleanliness and comfort.
The room was updated and very clean. The beds were comfortable but seemed a bit smaller than the standard double. There were adequate towels and toiletries which we appreciated. All in all a very nice, comfortable experience.

Tv remote had no back to it and the batteries were worn down so it was hard to change the channels. The beds were uncomfortable a little but not too bad. The key to the door was hard to open at times. once you open the door there was a smell in the room like mold I think it was because the windows didn't open... I just put one of my new car air freshener next to the beds...lol also the breakfast was very weak so I went somewhere else no big deal. oh and it was a little noisy but it didn't really bother me.
I liked the location and it was clean! Old but clean 🙂. I liked where there was safety bars in the shower. I liked how there were stores and restaurants near the place.

We only slept there. We didn't spend any extended time. No complaints for the 8 hours we were there!
Location was good, for our needs. We needed to be close to the airport, for an early flight. The desk assistant was kind and the lobby looked fairly clean.

The beds weren't very comfortable and the room wasn't soundproof (you could hear the traffic). The block out blinds didn't do their job and so it was quite bright all night.
Good location if you are driving. Close to the airport and a short drive to shops and downtown. Good parking.

The TV was difficult to use as the guide on the counter was incorrect as well as the streaming guide on the screen. Channels numbers did not match what was on.
The location was ideal for me - close to my project with gas station and 7-11 and restaurant right across the street. Although there was just one chair, I moved it around to make it serviceable.

Noise window heating unit, but this is common in most motels. Breakfast is a joke, but at least they had coffee. TV cable was unplugged and I could not plug it back in, but I used free WiFi to watch stuff online. Staff is rarely seen at the front desk, you have to guess where they are at.
This was the cheapest option near the airport. Easy to find, clean room, coffee maker and fridge and microwave. Easy check in and out.

The staff was extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. The room was spotless, spacious, and had all the amenities I needed. The bed was very comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep every night.
