Toilet seat loose to which I alerted them. Alerted them mini frig needed defrosting.
Good breakfast options. It was totally quiet, could not hear neighbors in ajoining rooms. Bed excellent.

It was very humid upstairs where we stayed, but our room was cool, temperature wise. For the area it was decent but could use some updating.
Clean and efficient. Pool and hot tub were nice. Jacuzzi in the room was great!

TV's cause some confusion to connect and apparently some guests have stole cables. Staff will provide assistance. Just bring tablets, phones, or computers to stream if this an issue.
Staff was friendly, clean room, pool and hot tub very well maintained. WiFi is solid.

We were put in an animal room which smelled really bad, had the window open for 2 hours with a good breeze and still no relief. Was a handicap room, we had no pets and if given the choice we wood have opted out of the handicap room for a better smelling one.
Linens were clean and smelled good.

Beds were pretty terrible. The pool and hot tub were ok but need a lot of repair. It was what I expected for the price. Just ok.
The location is great. Was convenient for us and visiting family. Fairly clean. Staff was kind and helpful.

as soon as we walked in our room the floor was soaked I'm assuming from them shampooing it. but it stunk like mildew and was wet until the next morning when we left

I booked this room because I needed a place to stay and it seemed like a good deal for what I was supposed to be getting. That being said there was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING correct or truthful about this room in the description. I paid for a King Studio suite. It was supposed to have a private entrance and be accessible to me because I’m disabled. I arrive at property to find out the number one. Their idea of a private entrance is apparently coming in through a side door and climbing a set of stairs to the second floor to get to the speed along with every other room on the second floor. THAT IS NOT A PRIVATE ENTRANCE.!!! Secondly I had to get down to a standard room on the first floor, but yet still got charged for the king suite! So essentially, I got downgraded, but still paid full amount! I am at a point where I am done with Wyndham!!! And there was no offer to make it right to me as the customer. I am a cross country traveling outreach minister who uses hotels all the time, but I will no longer be using at least the super 8 hotel chain ever again seeing if it’s been one issue with them after another since starting this trip. I will be contacting Wyndham and I will be filing a formal complaint with corporate. This place, not only falsely advertise their room, but are egregiously overpriced for what you get. ESPECIALLY SINCE THIS PLACE DOESN’T LOOK LIKE IT’S BEEN PROPERLY UPDATED SINCE THE 80S.

There were black hairs in the shower and bathroom floor. They were not ours. The carpet floor in the room was stained and dirty. The beds are small, only double size. Breakfast was ok. Saturday morning, we were still in bed, and housekeeping opened the door and asked if we were in the room. We said we were still asleep and left. There was no do not disturb sign for the door. The pool water was cold, and only 2 towels available 4 swimmers. I asked for a late check out to 1 p.m., and it was not available. We probably won't stay at super 8 in Clarinda again, unless it is an emergency.
Good price, 2 nights for the price of one night at our favorite hotel in town.
