Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Some of the furniture was in a dilapidated state. There were no plugins for technology charges.
The clerk was very nice and welcoming. We were given the privilege of parking next to the front door because my husband is a veteran.

Kitchen was dirty-wasn’t impressed with desk agent bring on her phone vs making sure kitchen clean. More variety for b’fast needed. Room was soso. Could use a deep cleaning, esp walls n floor edges. Comforter was stained:(((

Room was outdated which is not a big deal however room had a stale odor and dresser was missing a drawer which added to the unsettling feeling during our stay. Very limited selection of breakfast food items even for grab and go options.
Staff was nice upon checking in/checking out.

The room was quite smelly when we walked in, which can be typical for motels—but I felt it was more than usual. We didn’t use the sink or shower because the showerhead had rust/mildew on it and thus we weren’t sure about the piping for the sink. Paint was chipping in a number of places.
Breakfast was what I expected! Continental style with some fresh waffles. Typical and yummy motel breakfast! I also appreciated the late check-in accommodation and kindness from the staff.

The faucet squeak so bad when turned on the whole motel could hear it. There must have been a leak in the above room and they didn't put sealer on the ceiling water stains when they painted. The ceiling was terrible to look at. The floor was dirty, walls and ceiling needed repair and paint. They went with a coffee making machine and the coffee was terrible we didn't even drink it. Everything in this motel is in need of repair or replacement. Mattress was worn out. We've stayed at this motel probably about 6 or 7 times and it seems to be in worse condition with every stay. We won't stay here again.

Bed had a weird slit/hole in it, but wife managed to sleep around it.
Chosen due to price/location. Employee seemed a bit indifferent when we arrived, but hey it was Christmas Eve and she was having to work, so who could blame her!

I go there every yr for 2 nights with the American Legion. A/C would not cool below 69 from 75 when I first arrived Friday at 1 pm. TV remote would not change channels, yet it would turn on or off an volume. TV on wifi unknown if it works as it requested wifi password then would not change channel.

Beds were horribly hard and uncomfortable even for a Super 8. Slightly more expensive than many of the hotels my family stayed at while traveling to and from Arizona to get my moms belongings and ashes.

Room had some things that needed fixing, ie.. the wall the smoke alarm... the heater kept making a clicking sound all night long!
