Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomFlies in the room. It is a city-wide problem but the hotel should make available insect zappers for the customers in case there are flies in the room.

United StatesFirst room had bedbugs. It was the handicapped room, my husband showed first and went to bed. When I got ready to join him I noticed bugs at his shoulders. I killed 2-3 and left blood stains on pillows and sheets. Waited a few minutes and more came out of center of the bed heading to his shoulders. The desk clerk was accommodating with another room at midnight. But it was hard to sleep

United StatesThey charged $30 for a 6 lb dog for one night!the the highest I’ve ever paid. There was a tear on the sheer window curtain. There was a worn spot in the bedspread. They offered breakfast but only had seating for two people.

United StatesBreakfast-area is too small. Pagan statue (of Ganesha) at check-in desk bespeaks unfortunate diminution of Christian culture in the United States, as I suspect that nobody will object to its display.
Brick building seems in good shape. It is nicely away from the busy street. Extremely good price.

United StatesI I believe in freedom of religion but to have an idol on the counter that we checked in at with candles and offerings was very off putting, that should all be kept in private quarters. The bed was as hard as a rock, very uncomfortable

United StatesBathroom shower had no shampoo or conditioner in it. Bottles were empty. Commode stopped up and wouldn't flush. Coffee quality in the room was terrible. There was no door hanger to indicate 'Do Not Disturb'. Bathroom door would not close. There was no handicap ramp at the front door to allow handicap access to the office, even though there was a drive-through to approach the office (only a step of several inches). There was no handicap release button to open the front door. There were no grab bars in the bathtub. This room was NOT handicap accessible nor to I believe the hotel has any rooms that qualify. There was one small table and two chairs for people to sit in and enjoy their breakfast in the so-called breakfast bar.
Not much. The beds were ok, and it was reasonably quiet.

United StatesOur room had a very bad smell to it, the door wasn't fully closed but still locked and latched but still had a little gap to it. The heater/swamp cooler was extremely loud and really dirty and even when it was set to off it was still running. The bathroom door was all busted around the handle and the room wasn't very clean. Even the curtains wouldnt fully close in that room. I literally only stayed in the room for four hours just enough time to get a little sleep before getting back on the road. I didn't feel very safe.
At check in the front desk staff member was very polite but when asked about the $1,000 dollar sign they had posted onthe desk the clerk got a little upset but then he immediately apologized and examined it.
