How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Out of the ordinary for a casino sign to be bigger and more commanding than the Super 8 sign. Yet it worked.

The room and bathroom was very clean. The beds were comfortable! I like how close this place is to restaurants and a nice gas station across the street. I would definitely stay here again!

After checking out I did have some miscellaneous one bag to store while I waited for my ride and they wouldn't have anything to do with me quite rude not helpful and it was like I was a burden to the day the restaurant was no waiting and really nice outstanding little servers cute too I'm single I get to say that . So they couldn't at least have a locker area or something both times when they have Boston pound or at least a bag that's ridiculous
The maid cleaning service was awesome had everything just perfect and i didn't even know if thay were there really nice people there working . And then this is a new app it works smoothly and the reservations 💯 it was instantly done when I walked up to the counter nice.

When I booked it it said breakfast included …which is a JOKE. They offered me two muffins and nothing to drink . I was traveling with my Brother and nephew so asked for an additional muffin and they said no. They should not be allowed to advertise a free breakfast for two measly muffins.

The surprise deposit. Hard beds and pillows. Small bathroom.
Beds and pillows are a little hard. Plus, there was a $300 deposit that wasn't mentioned anywhere. We were made aware of it at check-in. But the staff worked with us. So just know that there is, in fact, a $300 deposit. The staff at JD Slingers are great.

Check-in was in the smoky casino. When you walk in it's not clear where the desk is. My nose and throat were burning because of the cigarette smoke. Evidently the ice machine was in the casino, too. No pets allowed.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The door seemed secure. One of the lights flickered when turned on and the shower head emitted a high-pitched and incessant noise, but those were tolerable and the cleanliness was appreciated.

We could have used 4 pillows instead of 3 on the queen bed and a blow dryer in the bathroom. Both are extremely minor details considering all the positives!
Just passing through town. Our usual chain hotel was booked. Decided to try the Super 8. I'm glad we did. The price was half what we usually pay at chain hotels, and the room was spectacular! All completely remodeled, super clean-no carpet, with a comfy bed and very quiet. I loved that the sink area and tub/toilet area are separate. The restaurant even allowed us to order delicious rib eye, even though we showed up at 7:56 and they close at 8 pm. Super 8 @ Bonanza Casino will be our new stop in Fallon.
