How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No internet connection for me, someone was kind enough to give me the admin internet password and I was able to get on but connection wasn't great. Hotels need to work on their connections, it's an absolute must. Phone didn't work either in my room.
free breakfast, always plenty of ice, hot showers all the time, place was clean and staff was accommodating.

Staff was very friendly, but breakfast could have been better organized. It was the 4th of July weekend and very crowded with travelers.,had to wait about 15 minutes to get my hot food Obviously a staffing problem which I can understand.
Excellent value and location. Room was clean,has modest furnishings but suited me fine.

Wish it had an elevator to the 2nd floor room, but we easily made do.
Very clean and quiet room. Would stay here again. Loved the large local restaurant guide in the lobby. Went to several of its choices while we were there.

Location is good, close to town, but nice and quiet. Breakfast could have been better. Individual scrambled egg portions not great. Add bacon and real homemade eggs. More fruit, too. But, coffee, juice and waffles were wonderful!

The WiFi was very poor and we had limited data on our phones so not ideal but we made it work! The tv had a lot of channels that we could not access and it would have been nice to watch some movies as the WiFi was poor. It didn’t affect our stay too much though.
Check in lady was lovely and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was standard but absolutely fine. The room was big and clean.

Not much, for a Super 8, it was acceptable. It's not the "best" hotel around but for the brand this was more than good.
Reasonable rate for the level of the hotel and the given weekend. Bike week is always a bit more costly. It is on 30 but is set behind the Days Inn so it's very quiet. The rooms were well kept clean and in better shape and repair then some "better" hotels I have been in recently.

There are only two floors but no elevator so make sure to note ahead of time if you need accommodations.
Great location, super friendly staff. I love that they had menus and brochures ready for local area attractions. The kids loved the pool and the hit tub was also nice.

Main issue about this facility in Gettysburg Pennsylvania and we've stayed there before and I've made comments before about this and nothing's been done is the pillows I don't even know how you call them pillows. They suck they're small and they're made of nothing I had to use three to support my head. Something needs to be done about this issue as we go here a lot.
I like being able to take my pet with me. I also liked having breakfast available. But Sunday they ran out of sausage and couldn't get anymore but that was no big deal there was a Perkins right there.

Since I am 70 and have bad knees, we were not happy with not having an elevator in the building. The drink vending machine was also out of order.
It was clean and fairly quiet.

Honestly thought the price was a bit high for location, not far from town, but not walkable. My error in not realizing we would have to drive as much as we did. Staying there during the summer likely meant the price was higher than usual, but just guessing.
Room was clean, breakfast was a bit beyond continental, what was expected. Fresh fruit and waffle maker were nice touches, although didn't have time to sample them during a short stay. Staff was friendly, we were able to check in early with no extra charge because I did an early on-line check-in, which was helpful.
