Room decor is a bit dark and dingy. It makes the room look dirty when it really wasn't.

Breakfast was OK. Hotel was easy to find. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Property is well maintained although age is showing.

When checking in, discovered that our room was on the second floor. Asked the front desk clerk to change to a room on the ground floor as my husband has a bad knee and has a hard time going up and down stairs (there were maybe 3 other cars in the parking lot) but she would not and did not explain why. He explained that he had a plate and screws in his leg (and 74 years old) and all she did was offer to help carry our bags upstairs which is nice, but not the problem . I killed a roach on the wall as soon as I entered the room. The a/c was working, but even though the control pad showed changing fan speed and temp, nothing ever changed. Coffee pot did not work. Shower head pointed somewhat toward the wall of the shower and could not be moved. Tv remote was extremely slow and difficult to work.

Location was easily accessible and directly on our route. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable.

Couldn't use the pool. It wasn't maintained and the water was green. The breakfast had what you needed to get you going but the waffle maker in online pictures was missing.

Comfortable, clean rooms with all the amenities and they all worked. Nice breakfast. Manager Elizabeth very friendly and helpful.

The carpet was in very poor condition, stained and old. The microwave door was broken and the glass fell out. The beds were pretty hard and the breakfast selection very limited. You get what you pay for, though

The property manager is rude, the room smells like mold, carpets are dirty and sticky on your feet. Shower head doesn't work correctly do to scum build up and doesn't drain properly while running. Complained that the gf was smoking outside and that it would cause the room to smoke and that he was going to charge me extra and then complained out the dog that doesn't bark and no one even knew it was there. Yet on the other hand there was a dog 2 rooms down that every time someone walked the dog barked and when you came up the stairs all you could smell was the odor weed coming from their non-smoking room. The property manager stated he knows what going on because he had been watching us on camera. Seems he could do more by leaving his locked down lobby and take care issues in the building vs watching like a creeper on a monitor and complaining about things that did happen.

Only good things about the stay was the location.

The staff was helpful & friendly. The rooms were clean. The price was good. This is a good jumpoff point for going to Florida. We will be staying there again.

The toilet needs a new wax ring (but that's a big project so I understand not wanting to tackle it) so it was wobbly when you got seated. The ZERO button on the microwave didn't work...being the Rocket Scientists that we are, it took us a few minutes to figure out we could just punch in a different cooking time (1:39 rather than 1:00)! LOL! Not a big deal at all.

The facility was clean, the mattress/sheets/pillows were comfortable, and the bathtub was deep & water was HotHotHot so wife was able to enjoy a long bath! One of the staff members provided us with toothpaste & toothbrush, deodorant & a comb since ours were packed in our cargo van. Directed us to park our "caravan" (truck w/trailer + wife's car). Even though I'd inadvertently booked a smoking room (w/2 queen beds) when I told them we don't smoke & can't stand the smell, the owner was able to move us to a non-smoking room w/a King bed for just a $16 upgrade fee. They allowed pets (for $25/ea) & even though one of our dogs piddled on the bed coverlet (which I threw into some water & shampoo in the bathtub to soak) they said they'd refund our $100 deposit. Very accommodating!!

The night guy aggressively screamed at me and my service dog for walking into the lobby. 1 small pillow per person and no hot water.
