Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Mattress kept sliding off the bed. Also, Fitted sheet slipped off the corners of mattress and bunched under me while sleeping. The elastic in the corners was worn out. A bit more of a selection for breakfast would have been good

Almost too far from I-80. That being said, traveling through the rolling hills past beautiful farms was pleasurable. Red Oak is a lovely community.

Breakfast wasn't much. If you didn't make yourself a waffle, your only options were cereal or bread that you could toast, BUT the butter and jam were in the refrigerator and too hard to spread. Even on warm toast.

The location was pretty nice. There was road work that made it a little difficult to get there, but it wasn't a horrible amount. You can't fault them for the improvements being made.

The front desk person the day I arrived was a younger woman with a baby & she was exceptionally nice & personable. Sadly, I cannot say the same about the older couple who were manning the front desk upon my check out. They were extremely rude people with seemingly zero personality. My group was sitting & talking after breakfast (about 15 mins past) & the older lady came in & let us know that she needed to clean it so we would have to leave. That wasn’t a problem & we didn’t have an issue with that except for as we were gathering up our trash & getting our things together she loudly exclaimed ,”Chop, chop!” As if we were children. We were out of her way in less than a minute & it was just very rude & unnecessary.

The breakfast selection was very small. And our smoke alarm was hanging by it's wires from the ceiling.
We loved the clean lobby, and our room was also clean, and the very friendly staff at the front desk! We also enjoyed the loveseat and ottoman in our room!

I paid on booking.com and when we got there they tried to double charge us. Same with another couple that was also staying there. So if you pay on booking.com please make sure to show them the email of proof.. or you will be charged again!!!

Room only had one plastic glass, only 3 very small & rather flat pillows on king size bed, very short time for breakfast. Breakfast room locked by 9 a.m. It would have been nice if at least coffee were available especially since there are no coffee makers in the room either.
Good location, reasonable rates, pleasant staff, comfortable temperature controls in the room. Great shower head with good water pressure.

The cleanliness was not as good as it could have been. There was food still around the beds and the tub felt slimy. The breakfast was below par. No fresh fruits and the bread was moldy. Also, we left two days early and were charged for the days we were not there.
The location was convenient to everything in town. The staff were nice and friendly.
