It was in an area that I’m not sure if I would have felt safe in late at night. Quite a long way from the train station coming from the airport with suitcases in tow.

Security to get into building was good. Room was clean but very small. Had paid laundry room that was helpful for travellers.

Would be good to have a bedside table on both sides of the beds - we had to use our cases. There is 1 small bedside table but the phone takes up all the room. When you have a cpap machine it’s very difficult to fit that on there. Hence I used my case. And the beds are very high. But they are very comfortable.

Continental breakfast was included which was good. Beds were very comfy. Easily walk to Union Square. It’s very close to the Tenderloins but we didn’t have any problems. They also have a washing machine & dryer available for use which was great as we’d been travelling for a week before we got there.

While location was great, location was bad when it came to the crowd and homelessness around. It was very scary to walk around, unless you walked north-west. Very close to tenderloin which is notorious for crime.

The stay was comfortable. The great part is the location, access to union square and be out on the road. Breakfast was also decent. Really worked well for us.

The breakfast was good and the choice was rather complete. The only drawback was that the breakfast room was all too small for such a large hotel. There was a tremendous queue and hassle between 8:15 and 9:00 am when it already closed. A system of seat reservation would help the situation until another big room is made available.

VERY Very small double bed. Don't turn left out of the hotel. Though the area (like most cities) does have a homeless issue it is very profound if you turn left out of the hotel. Turn right, and it feels much safer.

Handy location for all transport. Clean quiet room.Large bathroom and walk in shower. Great Irish gastro pub a short walk. Also short walk to street trolley.

nice location, good value for money, last minute booking so not much choices left room is big and you have everything you need, heater, hair dryer...etc. nearby area at night feel safe, there are a few other hotels nearby, and supermarkets also feel safe

nothing, the hotel and location was perfect. you have everything 5 min walking.

I like the location, that was near to downtown and near to power street station where you take the train and metro. Also the area its nice, its safe, its right in the beggining of tenderloin, but its clean and nice, you have union square 5 min walking. you can go walking all around dowwtown from the hotel. Staff super nice, and clean.

Homeless/drug intoxicated people in surrounding areas

Location is very convenient for transportation but unfortunately the area is populated by many homeless people which give a bad appearance to the district.

Generally a good stay, Bed was comfortable, good shower. Continental Breakfast availability included in the rate is a plus but don’t expect a full buffet breakfast. Security of the entrance of the structure was good and always monitored by the receptionist.

Hotel is at the beginning of Tenderloin area coming from Union Square and at night it's unpleasant and could get unsafe. Breakfast was minimal. On the last day, the (old) elevator run out of service and had to manually bring the luggage for 5 floors

Staff was available to let me check-in late in the evening, much after requested time, as I came from outside SF. Price is very competitive compared to others.

The internet was awful, could not work properly. Would be great if the staff could give a pitcher/ jug/ big water bottle in the room. Also, tea/ coffee were not refilled in the room daily.

Very central, facilities are great considering the price, the staff are super helpful and always tries to sort any problem once reported.

Surrounding area of the hotel was not good looking

Breakfast was good could start earlier at 6 instead of 7. Location was central but no kerb appeal. Staff was really friendly and helpful.
