Could use better sound proofing in ceiling of lower level or floors of upper level. Floors are now vinyl flooring which is great but noise from above is bad.

Friendly, clean, comfortable, ocean views and nice beach with easy access. Pets allowed but no trace of pets having occupied our room.

There was no hot tub no restaurant on site no vending machines with food options. They did apologize for the website saying they have a restaurant that they are planning to remodel in the future.

The floors were really dirty. Like not even mopped dirty. The stairs to the beach could use a little patching up. We were bummed that there was no restaurant.

The ocean view from the rooms and balconies is amazing. Perfection. So beautiful! The rooms are so spacious and the jet spa tubs are awesome! The pool is great, and so is the beach access! It was wonderful to bring our kids and my mom with her dog!

A couple of things in the room were dirty or in disrepair. The restaurant was closed and the property a little scraggly.

The property is in a beautiful location overlooking the Fogarty creek part of Depoe Bay. The view from the balcony was excellent.

The place is very run down. There was a hairball and purple hair dye in our shower which was very hard to turn on. The switch plates and door and window frames were dirty. The furniture was pretty beat up.

Since it's being renovated, the on site restaurant was shut down. We were able to walk to a diner just down the road, though.

The view was wonderful, absolutely loved the sunset on the balcony. The jacuzzi bath rub was a real winner for us. The whole place is about to be renovated, so we're eager to see how it will be in the future.

Better movie selection. More horror films would have been nice. Wish the hot tub/spa couldn’t have been there. Room wasn’t quite as clean when we got there. The photos was on the website make it look so much better. The restaurant/dinning hall was closed. Lobby opens late. Customers that need to leave early can’t check out

Facilities were dirty and run down. The bathroom sink backed up and drained slow. The hot tub was broken and the restaurant was closed. That was super disappointing.

After years of staying here, I can definitely tell they are letting things go. Mostly due to being sold and I think the current buildings are being demolished and a new resort will be built later this year. I have some great memories staying here and am looking forward to seeing what is built in it's place. Shane at the front desk is awesome. Friendly and attentive. The room was clean and the spa bath and fireplace worked fine. The view has always been the selling point at this hotel and it did not disappoint! Actually saw a couple whales passing by on my walk at Fogerty Beach. The outside is worn out and landscaping has been let go, the restaurant and hot tub are closed but I knew that when I booked. The room was clean and comfortable and close to all the places I wanted to visit. For those making all the complaints, it clearly states these amenities are closed and they are undergoing renovation soon. If you want a 5 star resort, book a 5 star resort and stop your whining! This place will be torn down next year. I was told they are closing it at the end of the year to rebuild. Permits, etc have delayed. I get it. It's old and they aren't caring for it as they once did. Why charge a pet fee for a building thats going to be demolished? There was a envelope for maid services in case you want to tip. Here's a tip. Clean the dust off the ceiling fan blades or sweep off the patio and clean the chairs that are out there. That would be nice.

The view is totally amazing and a close walk to the beach. The room itself suited our needs for a short weekend getaway.

Neighbors were a little noisy, coughing on their porch and playing music loudly midday. Had it continued I might have thought to complain, but didn't seem necessary.

Renovation plans had gotten derailed, so some amenities were unavailable. This was the main reason I chose this resort. The super-friendly staff set me up with an alternative that was even better, at the same price. So nice, I even extended my stay.
