We loved everything.

It looked idyllic from the outside. It had beautiful flowers, the choice of colours used were flattering to the cabin, and it had an outside table and chairs. The inside was really lovely. It was very cozy, comfortable and spacious. The decor was tastefully done. The bed and sofa were comfortable. The kitchen was lovely and fully equipped, as was the bathroom which had a good strong shower. The lighting everywhere was perfect. There was a good choice on the TV. It was very peaceful and quiet, with good sturdy blinds. It was easy to access with a coded lock, we felt very safe and secure. The host had very kindly left snacks, drinks, sauces etc which was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Both were great to communicate with, and were very helpful. We wanted to experience staying in a cabin in Alaska and this totally exceeded our expectations. We would certainly stay here again and would highly recommend it. We absolutely loved it.

The location was perfect for me. Easy access to town, walking trail right across the street, felt remote, but with the main house in view, it felt safe for a single lady🙂.

Such a beautiful, cozy cabin. Nice thick towels, kitchen well furnished, and on top of that welcome snacks that were very much appreciated. Highly recommend.

Loved everything.

It was a wonderful experience. Our first stay in Alaska. There is nothing the hosts did not remember in the accommodations. Plus plus plus lots of amazing things they included to make our stay delightful. They even invited us over for morning coffee cake. Unfortunately, we had to leave early so we didn't get to have the pleasure. Hosts wonderful and welcoming. Really appreciated the Casper mattress and will be buying one ourselves soon. Very clean, great in-room coffee, very near town, but still isolated. So quiet. Can't say enough about the stay. Extremely positive. Did we ever get lucky!!!!

Amazing cabin with a plenty of useful stuff a traveler might need: convenient kitchen a stove, a refrigerator, a microwave and a teapot; a comfortable coach and a warm bed; many other interesting things like board games and booklets which help to have some fun. The cabin has a toilet and shower inside. The area around is full of hikes and lakes which worth visiting. A small town with a pizza house and other cuisine is nearby.

It wasn’t within walking distance of town, but was a very short drive.

The cabin was cute and well laid out. The owner provided snacks, coffee, cream, etc.. There was also Kleenex and bear spray! Essentials for a cold October in Alaska. :) . She gave good suggestions of what to do around the area and where to stay next. So much nicer than staying in a hotel

That location is awesome and highly recommended! Easy to reach, super clean and provides a cosy bed and a nice bathroom in the cabin. The owners take also care of complimentary beverages in the fridge as well as coffee, tea and snacks and they are very nice people, always there to help! Thank you for this nice stay at yours!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Fireweed Cabins in Talkeetna. The cabin is very well equipped and has everything one needs. Deanna & Rick were very nice hosts!

The two separate beds - one of them was a futon - but very comfortable. We really actually liked everything

Because it was just two of us we would have liked two chairs in place of the comfortable futon. However, with that said we understand that family's would appreciate the large futon for several kids or a second couple.

Wonderful, well stocked cabin with all modern amenities. Full kitchen with all appliances large TV (50 inch?) with streaming, great bathroom with shower. Kitchen stocked with complementary local beer and cider, water, ice, coffee, tea, hot coco, just a great surprise! Then, to absolutely top things off Deanna knocks on the door with home made cookies, unbelievable! Deanna and Rick, the hosts are fantastic! Alaska hospitality at its finest! Would definitely stay here again next visit, but a few additional days. Enjoyed talking to Rick about local things as well as his saw mill he used to construct one of the Cabins. Stay here, you will love it!

Can't think of a thing! Everything we needed. Great stay!

We were very pleased with our entire stay. The cabin is charming with everything you need. Great kitchen with snacks and drinks provided. Plenty of towels, warmth and wifi. Close to town, but far enough away you feel secluded. Plenty of pillows and blankets. The bed is a full size, but very comfortable. The shower was warm and had a good supply of soaps and shampoo. We were pleased with everything and would choose this again! Easy check in and check out.
