It was super clean and quiet. The staff was great. They serve fresh baked cookies in the evening and breakfast on the weekends. The room was huge and very clean and comfortable. We've stayed many places in Traverse City and this was by far the best and worth the money spent.

I didn't like that I had to leave and go back home!!!!!

The check in was very easy and I was greeted warmly. I really love the notebook that was supplied because it contained housekeeping, breakfast and other helpful information. The room was amazing and the entire hotel staff were very friendly and professional.

Second bed in a two room suite was a little smaller than expected, but a pull out bed was easy to access with a few minor room movements. The wind picked up at night, and that made the window “howl”. The balcony door in the main room was not secured by whoever was there ahead of us and it blew open during the night. T took a little bit of finagling but we finally managed to turn the lock bolt that prevented it from happening again.

Nice room. Very well-kept space. Beds were very comfortable, and the showers were decent. Nice kitchenette area too. They have a billiard table with free play and a coffee machine always available. Great view of the Grand Traverse Bay the hotel was situated on. There was a balcony with a couple chairs (more on this later). In the Main bedroom was a beautiful jetted tub; deep enough to stand in and be 3' under water.

When checking in there was a problem accepting my card (due to incorrect expiration date put in system). I was staying for two separate stays during the same week. The original woman that was helping me was slowly figuring out why my payment wasn’t going through. Even though it processed for our first stay, we were still having troubles with the second stay. Dying this time I asked if my significant other could simply go up to the first room we were staying at and get relaxed while we figure out the problem. At this point, a disgruntled and rude employee came to the front desk and knowing the situation jumped in and barked “no! Not until we get money”. Astonished, I simply looked at her and tried to tell her the first stay was already paid for. We had just drove a long ways and wanted to start winding down for the day. Not even 2-3 minutes after this situation I had everything resolved as to why the card wasn’t working and was able to be on our way to our room. Everything else besides this one encounter was more than amazing.

I enjoyed all the amenities the room had to offer, very cozy and relaxing. Beautiful sight of the water as well.

I really wish the blindes covered the entire window/door so while I was changing in the room it wasn’t so open. Serving some type of food would have been great as well. Breakfast would have been nice.

The bathtub was amazing. Very relaxing. The fireplace was a treat especially because it was a little colder.
