Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

That you had to ask for the iron at the front and not having it in the room.
Parking lot was very bright during the night. Make my car feel safe !

We had an issue with the door not wanting to open and close without being pulled from one side and pushed from the other. The toilet paper holder did not stand on the wall. Also the floors felt sticking because if you need cleaning solutions is not the right time for the LVT.
The people who ran the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us, close to several things we wanted to see and easy to get people. It was quiet and we were not Disturbed at all.

I only have a couple of complaints. First would be the AC wasn't very cold which didn't bother us too much since we stayed in March. I would be leaving a very different review (a bad one) if it were dead of summer. Second complaint would be the floors were pretty dirty. They seemed swept, but definitely not mopped. Room could be cleaner for sure.
The rate was the main reason for picking this location, and how close it was to the attractions we were visiting. We were only staying for one night. Very well lit parking lot and stairs. Not many people staying here so the parking was ample. Big Rooms. Hot showers. clean towels. Quiet for being spring break which was nice. We felt pretty safe staying here. Easy to get in and out of the location.

We got to the hotel and it was like a ghost town. You had to stand outside at a window with a phone to talk in because the front door was locked. So, strange! You can tell the rooms had not been used in a long time. There were dead bugs in the bathroom on the bathroom floor and in the shower. The water pressure was terrible.

The AC didn’t really cool the entire room off, but enough for it to stay comfortable.
Very cozy location with exceptional lighting in the rooms. The beds were very comfortable and overall a quiet location.

The hotel was very clean with the exception of the shower walls, light switches, and pullout couch. I could tell the walls and switches hadn’t been scrubbed. Also I pulled out the pullout couch and it was pretty dusty in there including on the mattress. If my daughter had gone with me I wouldn’t have wanted her to sleep on it. The breakfast machines were out of order and we were never told where the ice was. Their attraction flyers were also from 2020-2022. Just a few things that could be worked on….
Bed was comfortable and clean! I appreciate the pillow covers and mattress cover. Many housekeepers skip it. The staff was also very friendly. Also perfect location, not too far from the coast.

The lack of it being cleaned, the toilet was dirty,shower wasn’t cleaned, and it had dust on everything. Seemed like no one had been in that room in awhile.

Everything was fine for me. I was very happy that Mike was able to get me a room downstairs! My only complaint was there was very low water pressure and it wasn’t very hot. Showers were not good.

Restroom wasn't cleaned. Toilet lid dirty with hair,dust, pee. Tub floor dirty, hair on wall and floor, shower curtain had mold. Counter very dusty. Entire floor sticky. Seems like all they do is fix the beds.
