The breakfast was not worth mentioning. I do not know if it was because they were remodeling or not. I saw a sign indicating that the breakfast bar was to the left, but the associate indicated that we should ignore it.

The facilities are aging and there was a sign in the bathroom of my room that explained renovations are ongoing. But that meant my bathroom had plaster showing and slow drains. The parking lot lights shine through the room but there was a nice room-darkening, pull-down blind that helped. I found a few hairs and some dusty areas in the room, but wouldn't call it dirty. It was fine for a short, last-minute stay before an early fishing trip nearby.

I arrived after midnight after a very long drive. I am very grateful to the kind staff member on duty who made check-in a breeze and gave me clear directions and parking suggestions. There is free parking all around the building with secure card entry. Lots of trucks parked there, including some with boats. Bed was clean and fairly comfy, on the soft side. Had amenities like a mini fridge, ironing board, makeup cloth, among others, which I appreciated, even though I didn't use them. Same goes for the on-site gym and laundry. And even though I was leaving around 6:30 a.m., the same staffer had a hot breakfast sandwich ready to go for me in a bag with a napkin and a smiley face on it. The coffee and tea were out at that hour, too. A simple, welcoming kind of place with some good amenities.

Property has friendly staff. Breakfast is nothing special. Rooms were clean. Walls are thin so if you have a noisy neighbor or someone above you, you will hear them. You can tell they’re trying to fix up the place, but our room had three different types and colors of flooring pieces together. Pool was nice!

The location is excellent for Tillamook area adventuring and right down the street from Tillamook Creamery. The facility is undergoing some renovations, but I believe my room was one that has had those updates - or most of them - completed, and it still felt dated. A more modern designer could have done better. The water pressure was awesome, and the front desk staff couldn't have been more pleasant. The rate was a bit high considering the quality of the property, but it is in the center of tourist area so I understand that. I would stay here again because it's likely the best in Tillamook.

Only complaint would be the smell of the air freshener used in the hallways and stairwells. It was so strong we needed to cover our nose in the stairs.

No hot tub A little outdated but being updated Felt like there was a hole in our floor the size of a small plate in front of the bathroom and it was just covered with thin flooring.

Parking lot departure was a bit confusing. Looks dated from the outside.

Good location. The reception is there 24/7 and are the NICEST. They will ask what you want from the breakfast menu for the next morning that night before and have it ready in the morning. Indoor pool.
