Room was very dark. Shower was very low pressure, with most of the water still coming out of the spigot at your feet. Was surprised there was not a fridge in the room. Room seems very dated with older furniture and lighting. Desk phone takes up a lot of bedside table space, but didnt' work! Had to call the front desk from my cell!

Location was great, easy access to all of downtown amenities. Valet staff was excellent helpful fast and accomodating. Beds were comfortable, and linens fresh.

Would have liked handicap bars in bathtub/sower and next to toilet. I'm 83 YOA and have grab bars in shower and next to my "tall" toilet. The hotel's toilet is standard height and was a struggle for me to sit down and stand up. Other than that everything was great.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was gracious and accommodating.

The bed was a little to hard for my comfort. I missed not having a book by the hotel to discuss amenities, especially since I did not receive the text regarding obtaining my vehicle the next morning. A refrigerator would have been nice in the room.

The location was perfect, especially with valet parking. The room was large and very nicely decorated.

could have been cleaner- splatter on the walls, no hand soap in the bathroom, tv remote was grimey (I sanitized it myself) The television need an upgrade and there was no mini fridge.

The hotel feels historic and has early 1900s decor.

No dislikes really other than a little tough to get a valet spot when we first arrived but they were very accommodating when I had to park somewhere else temporarily. Maybe some bags in the garbage cans. Other than that it was great.

Great location and loved the charm. The front desk staff are so unbelievably friendly. They remember you and love to chat. They seem to enjoy their job! So refreshing! Even the valets were wonderful. Very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. It was very quiet as well.

Room did not have a fridge. How is that even a thing in 2023? ALL hotel rooms have a mini fridge these days. Nope, not this hotel. Also, the chair in the room - the “sitting’ chair (not the desk chair) looked really old, really antique, and was horrendously uncomfortable to sit on. It’s clearly just for looking at, not for sitting on. What a waste of a chair. Also, the bed had wayyyyyyyy to many accent pillows. And lastly, weirdly - there is wall mounted phone right next to the toilet. That’s just bizarre.

Great location right near state Capitol. Rates were very good. Room was very clean and mattress was comfortable. Staff were very pleasant to deal with a friendly. Ice machine was close by, which was important because there’s no fridge in the rooms.

Some of the building fixtures and decor are a bit dated. The electronic room lock was very finicky and took a lot of tries to unlock. the bathroom door didn't close unless you used the lock. Little things like that which aren't deal breakers but just aren't quite right. Parking is expensive, either valet or nearby public parking.

Good location. Walking distance to river and Capitol and some shopping and eating. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean. Hotel had everything we needed.

the bedding was perfection. but there is no lighting in the room other than 3 small lamps . luckily there are a lot of windows but in the evening its a bit of an issue. .. this place is nice but can use remodeling .

We were out of the hotel most of the day, when we returned our room was not refreshed. I went down to the front desk to inquire and was told that they did not clean rooms unless requested, however we were not told this upfront. It is a real shame because they otherwise wouldA have received a 6 star rating.

The room was large enough to be considered a suite. Great location for walking to shops and restaurants etc. Well furnished, and comfortable.

We really love the location right in the middle of downtown. It was close to lots of restaurants and bars. In about 1 mile from the capital bike trail which is 51.7 miles long in his awesome..
