The location is perfect aside from the chances of petty crime in the area. It isn’t the fault of the property itself, but it’s something to keep in mind when visiting.

The grounds were very well-kept, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was top-notch.

The train is very noisy but you will have that anywhere in town as the tracks run right through the center.

Lovely period hotel, within walking distance of downtown. Beautiful gardens to sit in and enjoy the free glass of wine you get every night you stay. Breakfast was delightful, served and home cooked.

We stayed at the Campbell House for the World Championships. The house was wonderful! Check in was very easy and we all enjoyed the cookies! Staff was very friendly! Our room was perfect for our family of four and dog! Our breakfasts were always delicious and we enjoyed the patio and music. The house is located within walking distance to shops and restaurants and the park along the river. Our boys happily said, “every time we come to Eugene we have to stay here”!

This was the most beautiful property, cared for deeply by super friendly staff who were genuine people. the scones were lovey, breakfast was fantas. A very short walk through a beautiful and interesting location brings one to a cool, funky, upscale shopping area with excellent high end eateries. I honestly never give perfect reviews but this was perfect.

NOT a "not like," but because it's historic, not enough places for lighting outlets, and plug-ins.

Lots of extra plusses during our stay: pleasant and super accomodating staff; neat to downtown eateries & entertainment; relaxing lounge to entertain in-town friends; encouragement and outside dining for yummy brunch with friends; and the Skinner Butte path right behind the property, just beyond lovely, on-property gardens!

Another guest arrived late, around 2am, and was very loud settling into their room. It was disruptive enough to wake us both up. Then at about 3am, and again at 4am, trains came through town and blew their horns the whole time, waking us up for a second and third time. We were never warned about this by the staff so it was unexpected. If we come back again, we will try to arrange dates so as to avoid the overnight train noise if possible. Lastly, I understand supply and demand, but charging $555 for one night was exorbitant.

The grounds were stunning, immaculately kept. The house itself was great. Well cared for, quality furniture, carpeting, and bathroom fixtures. The people were all friendly and accommodating. They were able to allow us a slightly early checkin which we needed so we could prepare for an event we were attending later that evening.

TV remote was not intuitive, and no instructions in room. Room was quite tiny (a slightly smaller bed might fit better).

Breakfast was very good, though portions were on the small side. Appreciated that windows opened and air conditioner had a digital setting.
