Staff was just okay…not overly friendly or underly friendly…

The "breakfast" is a joke. $11 per person seemed great until we experienced the "buffet" that should be ashamed. A few pastries, fake scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, and yogurt. That's it. Completely unwelcoming. Bad coffee placed in the lobby. They need to step it up in a big way. The room had two double beds, not queens, which was really uncomfortable. The air struggled to keep up with the heat outside. Communication with the staff was stilted and unfriendly. Bare minimum. Lastly, it did not feel like a hotel (and signage was non-existent). This place is a conference center with 60 rooms. It does not cater to individuals.

The location is excellent for anything Wash U. Parking is convenient and right across the street, though I don't know how it might be while school is in session as spots are not hotel dedicated. Rooms were well-decorated, quiet, and very clean.

Everything was great! The beds are full size and not queen, so a bit tight for four people. We knew this when booking (it was listed) and still had a comfortable stay!

We only stayed one night but were pleasantly surprised by how clean and nice the rooms were. Free parking on weekends. We did not check out the pub or breakfast but certainly will on a longer stay. The complimentary water and coffee are appreciated.

Room was clean and well stocked with bathroom amenities. AC settings were fantastic. The two service desk employees I met were wonderful and helpful.

Maybe a little more clear on the actual location

The hotel room was so quiet and clean! The parking was free for the weekend in a secure parking garage. I had a little bit of trouble finding the hotel because I did not realize it was on the Washington University campus, but the front desk helped me and they were very friendly. The grounds are pretty and it felt safe to walk around. I would definitely stay here again.

It’s a modern, fresh design and has a focus on energy efficiency/sustainability. It feels very European in the details that are just well designed and convenient. Great to have access to a little coffee/cafe nearby, and all the amenities with the pantry were a nice surprise. Nespresso coffee maker on each floor and laundry machines no charge. The soap/shampoo collection is lovely and good quality.

The water temp never got above moderately warm. No do not disturb sign, so even though checkout is not until 12, housekeeping will wake you up at 8:30 am

The gym space is only okay, actually a bit subpar if you ask me. Also, the website claimed the hotel offered a free continental breakfast--which was a key reason for booking that hotel--but then it turned out that it wasn't available (b/c summer). That should have been clear from the start. And their only recommendation for breakfast was the nearby dining hall which we did not go to after looking up reviews. Also, I do wish that we could have gotten an even later check-out (1pm still too early for us), but I recognize that may not be reasonable on their end.

Elevator is slow, and the eggs at breakfast could be better.

The bed is comfortable with a range of pillows to choose from, some firm and some soft. Desk and chair were comfortable and supportive for long work sessions, and the breakout rooms on each floor are great workspaces too.
