Huge room with a terrace, huge bathroom with lovely and roomy shower. European made soaps, keurig in room, room service at your beck and call, located in the middle of all the restaurants of CWE and next to Forest Park with most of St. Louis's museums and famous zoo. We let the valet park our car and walked everywhere the rest of the weekend. Did I mention that the most beautiful basilica in America is 2 blocks away? What more could we have wanted?

the decor was sterile and the bathroom needed to have the paint touched up. the one piece of art in the room was really bad. Climate control was noisy. lacked nice small touches for a hotel of this supposed caliber

The room was way to far from elevator and had several steps in hall to entry of room which was problematic for our family members with mobility issues seniors not to mention carrying out luggage etc.

Toilet is a little close to the shower and TP. Took a while for the water to warm up in the shower, which after the first not checking before jumping in isn't a problem and funny random gurgling noises occasionally from the bathroom area. But none of this is a big issue as I understand this is a beautiful historic type building. Friend had the breakfast buffet and it was underwhelming for the price and just in general. Service was slow considering it wasn't busy.

My breakfast was good. The building is beautiful and the staff I encountered was top notch. The area has a bunch of eating/drinking options and ways to entertain yourself without getting in the car. Nice grocery store across the street for treats for your room or a day in the park. Beautiful Forest Park and all that has to offer just across the street.

Sadly, one of the elevators was out all four days we were there. The staff was nice but when the computers went down at check-in the lines got long and sluggish.

So many good restaurants within walking distance. Easy to visit cultural attractions from this hotel. For a summer vacation, the pool is very nice and food is available.

Bar seemed to ignore me, but was quick to give my husband drinks when we switched places. They were also slammed though.

It was clean, beautiful, friendly staff. Housekeeping surprised us while we were gone and cleaned up our room and sheets. One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Let us have an early check in and late check out. Gorgeous.

It was our spot to crash after an eventful wedding day. Everyone was so nice including guests on property. Pool was just perfect. We have a place to stay for many anniversaries in the future.

I had a corner room with windows facing to major streets. There are three major research hospitals within a few blocks. I heard ambulances all night, and got virtually no sleep.

Beautiful renovated old hotel. Early 19 century charm. Movie theater in the hotel. Fitness center one of the best I’ve ever used in a hotel.

I love this hotel. The valet is wonderful and when you walk into the lobby you are transported to the ambiance of this property. We love the pool, the dining, and the rooms.

The room phones were not working. I am sure that was caused by the storm night before.

The movie theaters in the historical hotel is very nice and clever idea. After a little exercise in the gym, we watched the newest Indiana Jones adventure. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. We reccommend your hotel to all of our friends.
