Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Very minor niggles and did not bother us but outside space had only one chair and looked unfinished. And lack of instructions for aircon, but that maybe because us Brits are not used to aircon, however we figured it out. Everything else was perfect.
Accommodation was perfect. Check in procedure from host was on time and was explained well. Accommodation was a good size and very clean. Facilities, especially the kitchen, were excellent. Kitchen had all the crockery & utensils you would need, plus tea, coffee, spices, oil. Overall decor was modern, bedrooms & beds very comfortable. Loved the games room too! Short walk in a safe area to local Spanish restaurant which was fab. Parking no problem. Highly recommend a stay here!

There's a soft spot on the floor in the kitchen by the dishwasher. My friend was afraid to walk near it for fear she'd go through the floor. Might want to check into reinforcing that.
Beautiful renovation. Thoughtful decorating. Nice amount of hangers. Even had paper towels in the kitchen. Lovely two bedroom. Great location. Friendly check in staff.

Everything was what we needed, but only thing is without a car not a bunch of places to eat within walking distance.
I was very happy that we were allowed to check in early as we had gotten in very early into Miami so we were sitting around with six bags of luggage and a young child who had a hard time adjusting to the time change. Also the accommodations were more than we expected as they had things for what we needed for our stay. Thanks to the property manager.

I can not fault anything about this property. It was perfect!
Absolutely beautiful property situated not far from Coconut Grove. Easy access by Uber to Miami airport and all of the main tourist areas. The property itself is absolutely stunning- immaculately clean, has everything you could possibly want and more including a Fussball table and a retro arcade game which I had lots of fun playing, taking me back to my childhood!! I cannot recommend this property enough! Thank you for letting us stay in your perfect property ;)

Extremely cozy and beautiful home with all the equipment needed. Bedsheets were extra soft. Easy check in and smooth communication with the host. Comfortable for 4 people. We really enjoyed our stay here.

House was nice and clean. Nice furtinures, very trendy inside. Beds was really nice and soft. Enough dishes, also there was texas holdem game. Everything what we needed and little bit more. I higly recommendations.

We liked everything :)
Perfect place to stay in Miami. The apartment is as shown in the pictures if not better. Great option for families since it has 2 separate rooms, living room with sofa bed and fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is located in a quiet area, 10-15 min. by car from most tourist attractions, airport, grocery stores and restaurants (Miami beach 20-30 min depending on traffic). You can park in front of the apartment for free, wich is a big saving (parking in Miami is very expensive). We would definitely come back :)

The location was great with lots of awesome food places close by. The house was very clean when our group arrived, and came fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, spices, and anything else you would need for cooking, other than the food itself. It also came with some fun games that our group really enjoyed. Owners were very responsive as well. Highly recommend!
