Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Shower floor tiles looked stained. Carpet was clean but I just generally hate carpet in hotel rooms.
The room was a good size, had everything we basically needed. Bathroom decor was simple but pleasant. Check in was easy. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. They were very nice to our dog and we had no trouble with staying with our dog.

I don't think the beds in the room were queen sized beds. They were definitely closer to double size, and were a tight squeeze for my husband and I.
Breakfast for $5/person was a great option!

The hotel sits next to Route 68. In the even numbered rooms which are on the highway side there is constant road noise. Ordinarily I wouldn’t be too upset by this but I specifically mentioned it at the front desk and they put us in a ‘road noise’ room anyway. Also the cell service in our room was sketchy to non existent which wouldn’t be a big deal but internet service was also nonexistent in this room. So we needed to use hot spots to connect. Which is hard to do with no cell service. You also have to pay $5pp for breakfast. Breakfast is the same stuff you get at any Choice Hotel but presented a little nicer. I rarely say this but I wouldn’t book this hotel again. Stay somewhere else. If you do decide to stay here insist on a room away from the highway and check cell/internet service before you accept your room. We weren’t offered to move because they said they were fully booked.
The room was spacious and nicely appointed. The hotel itself, lobby, facilities, was more upscale than most choice hotels. Bed was comfy. Nice fluffy towels and the hotel provided 4 towels for a king room.

The restaurant / bar next door can get loud but that's patrons not the bar or hotel's fault. Ask to stay up higher or opposite of the bar. Good food and fun for the kids though.
Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. Only stayed over night as we were traveling to Florida. But the room was perfect.

There’s nothing I can say!
It was a beautiful room, honestly was blown away! The room was very clean, beautiful and the beds are extremely comfortable! The breakfast options were above board and better quality than your average continental breakfast options so the $5 fee was certainly acceptable. So impressed that we booked again for our anniversary!

Just wish it had a pool. Only downside.
The hotel was pet friendly. We did see some dogs, but you would never know. The hotel was spotless!

Great location. Beautiful scenery nearby. Cooper’s Rock just the next exit up which was absolutely stunning. Loved having a restaurant/bar with live music right next door. Super convenient and food was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. Small balcony to enjoy some fresh air with a view of part of the golf course. Breakfast in the morning for only $5, can’t be beat! Will definitely stay again on our next visit to the area.

We stayed here for the WVU game. Good location-about 15 min to stadium. Price was high for Morgantown, WV but I'm hearing most football weekends are high. Very clean and friendly staff. Complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate in the lobby 24/7. Would stay here again for sure.

Thin walls. I could hear the man next door sneezing as if he was standing next to me and I didn't like that I could hear the guests above me walking around in the early morning hours while I was still sleeping.

I would have thought for the price of the room, it would have included the$5.00 breakfast. Breakfast was good and had a nice variety.
The room was exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised by the clean, modern, roomy experience. I truly enjoyed the comfort of the room itself and the bedding. I had a great night's sleep. Thank you.
