The property code and signing up for multiple apps was not great. Especially the 3rd party app "August" that wanted access to all my photos and contacts or they would not check me in. They probably use it to train LLMs or machine learning models or maybe just selling the info. Speak with the person via Booking chat and see if you can get the code without it.

The place was great. I never spoke with the host on the phone, but chatting through the Booking app, the host was great and very helpful. There were some elements that weren't perfect, but I was more than happy and might actually stay here again in the future. The trash cans had blown over because of the wind. That's understandable, especially if you know the area, high winds are common and I love them.

Absolutely nothing.

I stayed with my dog Charlie for 2 nights. This property was absolutely pristine. Cleanliness is always a concern of mine in vacation rentals and let me tell you, it was spotless and fresh. Decor set a relaxing and retro desert vibe. The views were stunning and amenities absolutely wonderful. There's nothing they haven't thought of and the host and property manager are friendly and responsive. There is a $50 Pet Fee for those wondering!

Cowboy tub was out of action when we were there but we didn't need it as we had the hot tub.

Beautiful location with fab views, basic cooking supplies and coffee etc provided. Lots of cooking utensils etc. Nice gas powered fire pit and bbq. Super comfy bed in the main room. Basic toiletries also provided.

Didn't really understand the whole pool thing mentioned in the listing but it was not anything we were looking for. The spa did not appear to be in service & is away from the house.

This place is absolutely immaculate, well equipped and comfortable. Our plan was to spend the days exploring and hiking in Joshua Tree National Park and relax at the end of the day here. It could not have been more perfect. While it was just the two of us, the secondary bedroom and bath were spacious and gorgeous so it would be great to share with another couple or family and still have plenty of space. There was no pool and the spa was no convenient for us but we did try the sauna which was great. All the furnishings are top notch. This felt like home; comforting & happy.

This was by far the nicest place I stayed during my trip to Southern California. The home was clean and quiet, the amenities were amazing, the view was beautiful, and the hosts were very easy to work with. I wish I had spent more time here.

The bed comforters are nice and thick, which made things too warm on these summer nights. The AC works well, but perhaps a bit too well, as we had a difficult time finding the happy medium; too hot with the comforter, too cold without it. Maybe a lighter weight blanket would have worked better. Also, and surprisingly, the towns of Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley still give off too much lights so its not really feasible to watch stars in the nothern direction. Overhead stargazing is great, and other directions too when there are no clouds, just not so good to the north.

A fantastic host for a place that's like a showroom. I highly recommend it for a family vacation in the Joshua Tree area. One can bring food and cook meals here to save money and eat under the stars. Lots of amenties in the place, from a hot tub to a telescope to board games.

Everything was great.

The location was an easy drive from the Joshua Tree national park and was a beauty to walk into. The house was the perfect place to relax after a day of being in the desert.
