I noticed an unpleasant smell in the area. It was beyond the hotel, too, so perhaps it was the water?

I am a big fan of The Geneva Inn. It is a beautiful property in a fantastic location.

I love the quaintness of the hotel. It's beautiful. the rooms are nicely renovated and the view from the balcony is breathtaking, however there were so many bugs it looked like a wall. we couldn't enjoy the balcony or the weather. the bed was very very firm and the thermostat was hard to control. we did love the coffee maker in room and the option to buy from the mini fridge. it was pretty costly for the room and would have liked to be able to enjoy it. the restaurant was under construction which wasn't ideal but we were hoping the coffee/ breakfast bar was open and it wasn't either.

The room was nice but suffersd from some darwbacks. No instrutions fo the coffeemaker, carpeting in the hallways despertly in need of updateing, in adequate bedside table space, mattress height set too high- making "in and out" efforts difficult for the more elderly patrons, access to available electrical outlets very inconvenient.

The Grandview was wonderful as always. The personal attention was delightful and the food was delicious and excetionally well presented. There was live entertainment in the Bar that was good but was too loud and close up. There is really not enough space in the area to include live music comfortably.

Stayed at this property several times - including Christmas in the past. Was surprised how the TV and the climate control was do difficult to use with very little help. Also noticed the hotel it self is not in the shape it has been in the past. Seems to require some remodeling and care. Still enjoy the property - but might check out other locations.

The room was super hot and we couldn’t control the temperature. We stayed in the same room one year ago and had the same issue. Need to fix this.

Staff at reception not that friendly. The air conditioning/heater were very noisy especially at night. The coffee machine did not make hot coffee and there was no alternative. Apart from the bar and restaurant no other facilities for guests, very limited.

Poor lighting in the room. Also, given a first floor room facing the parking lot. Since I had booked this trip well in advance of the planned date, thought we’d get a lake view. Also, since it was my sister and I traveling, would have preferred upper floor for safety

We had a suite with a sitting room separate from bedroom. The bed was too hard. For the price I was expecting some bathroom amenities but they had a sad looking body lotion, not even a shower cap. The coffee in the room was not good at all.

The rooms are huge. Way bigger than a standard hotel room. Each had a couch, table, and beds and still plenty of room in the room with everyone’s luggage

Everything was absolutely lovely, but we noticed major dust (like 6 months+) under -!: behind both beds and behind the couch and nightstand. Additionally we noticed what appeared to be the beginning of mold in a small spot of the ceiling in our room. When I reported it to the front desk, the reply was “I’ll let housekeeping know”. He didn’t seem to care much.
