We did find the bed too hard and the pillows too soft for a comfortable nights sleep, but everything else was well thought out.

This is a lovely property, spotlessly clean and easy walking distance to town. We highly recommend the bakery across the road for breakfast for their delicious baked goods.

Mattress was not very plush -- totally comfortable, but again: Scandinavian simple.

Self check-in went smoothly with door key code sent to me shortly before I arrived. Room was minimalist -- Danish Scandinavian style in keeping with the theme of Solvang -- but also very clean! Great for a one-night stay. As a single older woman traveling alone, I felt safe ... and the location was great for walking around and going out to dinner on my own.

The bathroom in our room was a little small.

Nothing - LOVE Hamlet Inn!

Everything!!! The Hamlet Inn is a great location, walkable to all that Solvang has to offer, and clean, quiet, friendly staff, comfortable, great design, communal social space out front, etc. We LOVED our stay here and will be back next year again! It has become a wonderful tradition!!

Emma, the front desk person, was terrific. Very friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable with a great location. It is an easy walk to downtown and Solvang Theater Fest and PCPA . Really a good value for an overnight stay.

The King room matched exactly the photos on the website. It was perfect for my small family and I. Easy to check in and my favorite part, keyless entry. Didn't have to worry about if the key was left, who had it, or losing it. Exceptionally clean and the AC was great! Walking distance to everything, which is an added plus as you don't have to worry about driving anywhere.

The accommodations are very simple and basic but that's all I was looking for. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location made it easy to walk to in-town destinations and the Inn provides bicycles for guests' use which was really nice. If you're looking for a "resort" this is not it. But if you want a nice, comfortable clean place to stay at a reasonable price, you won't be disappointed.

Hmmm... Tough one. I couldn't make the shower hot, but it was my 70-year-old bumbling self that got it wrong. My partner had no trouble.

Simple elegant room. No frills, just the necessities. Perfect. Emma at the front desk was particularly helpful, and is a big reason that I will recommend this place to others to stay in Solvang.

There was nothing to not like. It was a perfect overnight stay.
