Not accessible, had to carry stroller up the stairs. We knew that in advance so we’re prepared and packed lightly.

What a sweet hotel! Lovely staff, homey rooms, very clean and comfortable. Old-school bed and breakfast style. Walking distance from the beach and boardwalk. Right by a beautiful lake. We really enjoyed our stay!

Honestly - NOTHING! Perhaps having coffee ready a bit sooner maybe.....but not a big deal!

Everything! It was my 2nd time there with a different friend - and our King suite couldn't have been nicer! Along with the pleasant young lady at the front desk. She was above and beyond congenial and accommodating from beginning to end! The front porch view is to die for!

I absolutely loved this place, we've just left & i wish I'd booked longer. It really felt like home, so laid back, comfortable & cosy. Breakfast pastries were tasty. Wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thank you x

No elevator. Long climb upstairs. Tv. Too small. Breakfast minimal. But good. Some small repairs Needed in room. Towels could be replaced soon

We were in a first floor room. No fault to the management, but we were bothered by the guests directly above us one of the three nights. We heard their movements across the floor.

Jodie was extremely helpful. And Steven, the owner was also informative re: attractions in the area.

This wasn't a problem for my husband and I, but my sister-in-law had trouble with the stairs. An elevator would not be right for this hotel. Be aware, and if you can book a room on a lower floor.

The hotel is very nice. We stayed. In a room with a separate living room, bedroom and bathroom. The breakfasts were good, staff very nice. It's located in a very nice neighborhood, and close to the beach.

I have no negatives about the hotel but I found out after booking this hotel through booking.com, that I was charged approximately $80 more than the hotel was charging for the room that we got for both nights. I was very upset that booking.com over charged me this amount of money. The hotel manager felt bad about this but could not help me because I went through booking.com. I feel that booking.com should make this right and refund me the amount that I was overcharged. I will not be using booking.com as my first source of reservations .

Only thing missing was access to bicycles.

The ambiance and set up of the property was perfect for our Anniversary Weekend! Loved the balcony for morning coffee.

No elevator due to it being a historic building. Which is fine but they should consider hiring someone willing to carry luggage up and down the stairs for a fee. I certainly would have paid gladly.

Pool and family guests, who seemed to commandeer common sections of the porch and pool area (as if it were there's to use exclusively).

The room could have used a new rug which they were installing downstairs. The only other dislike was the train noise which you will hear no matter where you stay in Spring Lake. This is not a reflection on the hotel. The only other thing is next time I will get a room on a lower floor. We had a beautiful top floor room but had to climb 5 flights of stairs to reach.

Location and staff were excellent. Continental breakfast was better than expected with fresh pastries and fruit. Room was very nice and large.

The breakfast can use a lot of improvement, it is mediocre at best. The coffee and tea station is great, the pastry was not fresh, the bagels weren't great. They post a lot of signs thinking of the environment, however everything at the breakfast station is plastic, the cups, the cutlery.

The location is great, parking on premises, and the property is lovely and cute. We love the pool in the summer, wifi and tv was great, the view was awesome.

Fan in bathroom in Room 28 does not work. Always musty in bathroom. Light by window is broken. Breakfast could be improved.

The location is ideal. Drinking coffee and watching the sun rise across the lake is the perfect start to the day.
