I have stayed here many times since they opened and i love it every time. The amenities are great and the staff is awesome. You can cross the street and you are on the campus. No need to drive anywhere.

We had to wait over an hour for one of our rooms to be ready and there were some stained bedding, but hotel staff replaced them upon request.

The decor/ambiance was very nice and felt like I was in the city even though the area was far from that. Location was directly across from Radford Univ so that is a plus as well for anyone who needs it.

Very spacious rooms. Lovely decor mirroring the colours of the Blue Ridge Mountain and RU red. Location is top. Terrace bar and restaurant is excellent 👌.

Cost... too expensive for what it is. No proper door on the bathroom. Breakfast isn't actually included - you get a room credit which doesn't cover the cost of breakfast for two.

Everything is great, clean and modern facility, except the outer door not does not fully open for ADA access. Late check-ins would require coordination as the outer door locks down after 10 pm. The staff is great, and the “Jennifer” latte (lavender honey) from the ground floor cafe is delicious.

The restaurant was nice but I wish they had some less “exotic” type meals . They have basic chicken fingers and burger but everything else is a spin on a basic plate . Some times you just want pasta with a marinara sauce ( that is in the kids menu but not adults ) also no pool .

This was a fantastic hotel . Very nice rooms and staff . They have a restaurant on site as well as breakfast. You do have to pay for the breakfast as it’s not included in the room price .

Our son graduated from Bradford this weekend and we needed a quick hotel stay. I cannot be more pleased by the day at the Highlander. It was close to everything, it had a great rooftop bar, and it was just delightful.

Bee and butter needs a new chef. Fish fry was terrible. Hard breading, more breading than fish. Hush puppies didn't have a good flavor. Strangly flavor of tartar sauce. French fries and cole slaw were good.
