The bed was not very comfortable.

We loved the room. The innkeeper, Dennis, upgraded us to the large suite because it was available both nights we were there. It was HUGE and the aesthetoc was very nice. We also loved how personable Dennis was. The breakfast was delicious. There were umbrellas available for us to use which I think was such a nice touch. The room was fully stocked.

Beautiful Victorian. Enjoyed learning about the house. The stories are fascinating and Dennis made the house come to life. Well appointed rooms with comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious made with care and on time. Definitely will return when in the area.

Built in the 1800s, this historic gem is filled with impeccable details, from its grand architecture to the beautifully preserved interior. Every corner of the home exudes charm and elegance, making it a truly special place to stay. We had the pleasure of staying in Sarah’s Suite, which was incredibly spacious and offered the perfect blend of historic charm and modern luxury. The bathroom was a dream—featuring a stunning pedestal tub—and the private balcony was such a delightful touch, offering a serene space to step out and take in the surroundings. A huge part of what made our experience so memorable was Dennis, our host. He was an absolute joy to talk to, sharing fascinating stories about the history of the home and making us feel incredibly welcome. His passion for the inn and attention to detail in every aspect of our stay truly set this place apart. And we cannot forget to mention the phenomenal breakfast! The morning started with refreshing drinks and a beautiful platter of fresh fruit, followed by a perfectly made omelet with delicious toppings, roasted and baked sliced potatoes, and a toasted English muffin. Every bite was divine, and the chef’s skill and presentation were truly top-notch. If you're looking for a luxurious, peaceful, and historic getaway, The Inn at Centre Park is an absolute must. From the breathtaking architecture to the warm hospitality and five-star breakfast, this bed and breakfast is an experience in itself. We can't wait to return!

The Inn is beautifully restored and currently decorated for the holidays. It is the perfect location for activities in Centre Park like the holiday or garden tours. Every detail captures an era of great beauty in even the smallest details. The Inn and the fabulous breakfast are a real treat. Modern conveniences meet luxury of another century. Dennis is a gracious and engaging host who places everyone at ease. It is convenient to downtown and West Reading and has its own parking.

My husband and I had to deliver a painting near Reading and decided to take a day off for a short, much-needed getaway. The Inn at Centre Park was perfect. We expected it to be beautiful, but it was above and beyond. It is located in a beautiful old mansion that used to be the residence of a bishop. All of the architectural details speak to that rich history. So does the service. The breakfast was fresh and filling. We can't wait to return for another night or even better two.

This is an historic home. It was built by the owner of Wilhelm Paints, Charles Wilhelm. It features architectural details, with handcarved oak and chestnut woodwork, 12 foot ceilings, plaster cherubs, Greek figurines, stained glass windows that envelopes one into a romantic bygone era. Dennis, the owner, takes personal care of all of his guests. Breakfast was a feast!

This is a divine accommodation. I just loved the house. The architectural detail is exquisite. I wished I'd booked it for more than one night. The Brunch was to DIE for - don't' miss it. Your host is also most excellent.
