Some rooms on first floor suites need some updating but still a great hotel. We love it

Evening complementary buffet is basic, little choice but ok for a snack. No real 'quiet' indoor space to read etc. Options on the outdoor terrace but it was 98 degrees outside! Shower only - no bath.

Breakfast is fine. Hot or cold options available and coffee 24/7. Room is a good size and well equipped - including kitchen equipment - sink, fridge, coffee machine etc. Plenty of parking space and importantly for us very close to the Bethpage golf courses. Desk staff were very helpful with an issue with the air con and had it fixed immediately. Pool area nicely set out.

The floors were sticky and not clean. This was especially in the bathroom and kitchen area. I could see spots on the bathroom floor. The bed was too soft and lumpy.

The location is peaceful and quiet. The decor was nice. The food was good for the most part. The boiled eggs are served cold.

Better catering for dietary requirements (especially evening buffet) would be good. Option to have door for all of bathroom would be good (or small sink in shower area) to give privacy if required e.g. medical conditions

There’s not much to dislike at this property. The only issue we have is that they charge $150 if you bring a small dog and then $15 per night. They should really reduce this rate as it’s more than their special rate per night to bring a dog for one night.

We have been staying at this property since we moved from New York to Montreal. We have family in Long Island and have been coming to this hotel for the last 13 years. The staff are amazing… Especially the young lady who was at the desk when we checked in. I cannot remember her name, but I know it starts with an S. is she allowed us to check in super early because we got in in the middle of the night. In addition, their staff are lovely, the rooms are clean and spacious, they give you breakfast and dinner Monday to Thursdays. In the summer, they have a small pool that you with rooms that open up onto the pool and Terrace. They also have a restaurant called Volpe, which is next-door to the Fox Hollow and I believe is part of the Fox Hollow… They have the most amazing food. This is our go to Hotel when we come to Long Island :)

The carpet in the lobby and the main stairs are worn and in need of replacement

The air conditioning was being fixed our second day so not as comfortable in the room.

Nice grounds we were there for a prom . Nice courtyard but the jacuzzi wasn’t working the night we could have used it. The meals were good. Comfortable sitting outside in the courtyard. The room was big and comfortable. The kitchen area lacked paper towels and dish soap.

Terrific and friendly staff always eager to help especially Will who developed a close bond with my 9 year old. The shuttle service was extremely useful and the complimentary dinner on weekdays was an added bonus. I would recommend it highly to anyone visiting long island.
