Not having a working ice machine became very frustrating. We had coolers we needed to keep ice in and having to ask staff every day was very inconvenient

Staff was AMAZING! Especially enjoyed David at the front desk who was very welcoming and helped us get our things into our room.

We had an issue with the in-room (room 127) refrigerator not getting cold—only mildly cool. We mentioned it on two occasions, but unfortunately, nothing came of it. That said, we always travel with a backup plan and had our own refrigerated cooler, which worked perfectly for our needs, so it didn’t impact our trip.

The resort is vibrant, relaxing, and full of charm—everything you want for a Key West getaway. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Every interaction was friendly and helpful, creating an atmosphere that felt genuinely warm and personal. The pool area was a highlight—beautiful, clean, and so refreshing in the summer heat. We especially want to recognize Ruslan, the bartender, who truly made an impression during our stay. It seemed like he was working nonstop every single day we were there, and yet he always had a smile and great energy. He brings an incredible work ethic and enthusiasm to the bar, mixing up fantastic drinks and taking time to connect with guests. He’s a standout part of what makes the Havana Cabana experience so special. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Key West. Whether you’re lounging poolside, grabbing a drink from Ruslan, or just enjoying the relaxed island vibes, Havana Cabana delivers on every level. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We had a pool side room 2nd floor. We stayed for 3 nights during the week. One night, music was far to loud @10 pm. Granted, pool and bar close @ 11pm. The other 2 nights the person in charge of volume of the music had much more consideration.

Had everything you needed for a beautiful day at the pool. Towels, Suntan lotion and great Banana Daquries! Could change up the music through out the day. Shuttle to downtown Key West was easy and very convenient.

We loved the pool area, although the first 2 days included children at the pool area. We chose this hotel because it was child free. This was a disappointment, but other than that our experience was great.

We loved the pool area! The staff was very attentive to the cleanliness of the area. smoothies and Jello shots were flowing everyday complimentary.

The rooms are dated and for almost 400 a night I probably wouldn't stay again.

I liked there was floats for pool. Did more sight seeing than staying at hotel. I did like there was transportation to down town. Did not eat at hotel. I liked it was adult only.

Havana Cabana was an excellent choice. The staff was cordial, and the texting option is convenient for requesting any additional needs. The bar had amazing mojitos and frozen mango margaritas which paired well with the pool. The shuttle was another added amenity so we did not have to uber. The schedule made it easy to plan for departure and returns. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The door to our room had been broken at one point and didn’t seal all the way. The doors to the bathroom are warped and need replacement.

We liked the free buss to Duval area. Bed was nice. Appreciated the complimentary drinks.

The toilet in our room had flushing issues. I would have preferred to order from the food truck directly instead of having to go to the bar.

The pool and Mojito bar were great. The Cuban Mix sandwich from Floridita food truck at the pool was the best in Key West. The shuttle bus was always prompt every 30 minutes. Room and bathroom were clean. The Flama Cabana Bar was exceptional!

The hotel in general looks very nice. The pool area looks awesome and is extremly beautiful, the pool itself is very nice. Although and sadly, the music at the pool was way too loud to relax. You could even hear the music in the room with closed door. Some of the people working at the bar didn't seem motivated at all and weren't very friendly. However, one guy (don't remember the name) did great and was friendly. The room was nice, but could have more/brighter lights. The A/C was quite loud, also there were machine noises from the outside and a rooster/cock crowed loudly repeatedly in the morning. The food from the foodtruck was very good.

Right on a highway-we had a first floor room with a little patio that didn’t have much privacy as it opened onto the parking lot and driveway at the front of the building.

Pool was lovely and you could always find a chair or two. The food was remarkably good and staff was lovely. There are several chain restaurants within walking distance and a Publix supermarket right next door.

Our room was close to the bar and for 2 nights of the 3 we were there, it was very noisy... music so loud we couldn't watch TV or sleep in our closed room until after 11pm. A gate just outside our room clanged loudly all night. People stayed in the bar after closing, talking so loudly that we could have joined the conversation. We didn't expect silence, just a bit of consideration.

The room was clean and nicely decorated. Resort was well maintained, and the amenities were nice, but there is a mandatory upcharge for them. The shuttle into town was great.
