A clean, basic motel in good condition and working order. Nice screened in outdoor eating area that even had a grill. Upstairs apartment off the street and on a quiet corner.

There really wasn't anything I didn't like. I would have liked a laundry line in the shower for wet bathing suits, but, really, that is just being picky. I just hung my suit on the shower curtain rod and it was fine.

My room looked exactly like the picture above. Although the inn has the appearance of having been around for awhile, the owners take very good care of it. The property is super cute from the cute little lighthouse to the beautiful pink flowering tree in the front yard. All of the rooms open to the parking lot, so it is kind of like having your own little apartment. My room had been redone and had new flooring, an updated sink (like the one in the picture), a little mini refrigerator, microwave and Keurig coffe maker. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel, handsdown. The room I was given was in the corner, so no one had to walk past my room to get to theirs. I had a very small walkway in front of my door, so I could sit outside. But there were also plenty of tables and chairs set out to sit at for a meal or just to relax. There was also a screened in patio area off the parking area that I saw people sitting in. I enjoyed the pool area every day and, once again, the owners had it set up so cute. There were huge, thick black and white towels to dry off with. The towels matched the umbrellas in each corner around the pool. Each umbrella had its own set of lounge chairs. I felt like I had my own little apartment for the couple of days I was there and I felt very comfortable with everything I could want thoughtfully provided for me.

The steps up to the room were too steep. 3 cinderblocks high. If I were 20 it wouldn’t be an issue.

Close to everything I needed but then the island isn’t very big anyway. I like that it’s been renovated.

My room was charming, comfortable and sparkling clean. The manager went out of his way to help me stay 3 nights by asking an incoming guest to change rooms. The pool and screened patio were lovely. The location was great; I was able to walk everywhere. It was a very pleasant, relaxing stay.

The microwave didn’t work.

Very clean and comfortable. The staff accommodated us with a ground floor room instead of the second floor room which was originally booked. Nice pool and a nice gazebo equipped with a sink and a barbecue grill which we took full advantage of.

We liked everything.

Nice big room. I loved the frig/freezer (much nicer than what you find in more expensive hotel chains), microwave and Keurig. I liked the bathroom sink outside the shower/toilet. We were arriving late and the hosts were very responsive. The copy of Inside Chincoteague was very helpful. Thanks for providing it.

Decor, safe, quiet

Lovely little restored Inn. My room had a pink flamingo theme. Comfortable bed, helpful staff, quiet, clean and close to everything you need or want to do on Chincoteague.
