    Not a thing.

Great service - was greeted upon arrival and departure. Samantha is a darling facility manager. It was the first time I’ve ever been welcomed with a gift bag and a bottle of wine. Room was above expectations. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of extra pillow provided. And very effective blackout curtains. 2 TVs in the unit - one in the living area and one in the bedroom. There was even a white noise unit on the wall if you needed it. The bathroom was very modern and looked just like the photos. They an above average supply everything you’d need in the kitchen for a longer stay except groceries. Most secure parking we’ve ever had (a carousel lift). Keyless/careless entry everywhere.

I was absolutely blown away by this property - it was an AMAZING stay and the staff go above and beyond. This was the comfiest stay I've had while traveling in years! The bed, robes, towels, pillows - every item was selected with the customer/traveler in mind. The cute details, amenities, and everything was beyond my expectations and I believe this place deserves all the praise possible. The location is prime to everything you could ever want to walk to or take a quick uber to. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will be back!

Currently a lot of construction in and around the area, not a big deal, however

New, sleek, comfortable, and savvy. The car "stacking" system was amazing.

Excellent option of a "small studio" kind of hotel. Very nordic style of admin/councierge. Prime location and very friendly staff. Everything done through apps, even the parking in a carousel which was a total novelty for us. Very clean, all new. No views but it is what you need to sleep and be out early and return late.

The bedroom is only separated by a curtain. This would be fine for two people, but it's not great with 3 or four.

Location is pretty good for visiting downtown and king st. Check in was super easy Clean, modern and everything needed was provided. Very easy to get to when entering charlston

It’s not disclosed upfront that you have to pay for the parking carousel separately. They hit you up for the parking money about 3 or 4 days before the trip.

Comfortable, clean, and close to a lot of stuff. It’s virtually the iris of the peninsula.

To park your car, you will need to use a multi-level automatic parking. To do this, you must first register in the system and book your parking space. In general, I experienced a little stress with parking, but this is not critical.

Everything was great! Great renovation and furniture. When we checked in we found a gift prepared for us: a bottle of wine and chocolate. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The pull out couch is uncomfortable. However everything else about the space is well done and was to our liking.

The staff was exceptional, responsive and attentive. The space itself is well designed to be efficient and well laid out. it was an excellent way to spend 3 days in town. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to cook including an induction 2 burner stove top, pots, pans, knives, cutting board etc. There is a combination washer/dryer, hangers, ironing board and iron, living room area, fold-away dining table, 2 televisions, privacy partition for the bedroom, and plenty of space for a short or long term stay.

It's not that we didn't like this, but we have to talk about the parking and the communication around it. Parking is an extra fee and is within an onsite computerized Stak car carousel which we had never seen or even heard of. In our city stackable parking has attendants. While this was much better, it was super intimidating. Once we got over the shock, it was fine and actually kind of cool, but it would have been so easy for a representative to tell us about the carousel when they called to quiz us on the size, make and model of our vehicle. We had no idea why they were asking and just assumed that the spaces were small, but it was in order to determine into which of the three available Stak our car would fit. We were also sent a link to a YouTube tutorial on how to use the Stak, which i jokingly said should have also come with a link to a nearby marriage counselor. Having a person talk with us about it over the phone would have alleviated a lot of anxiety about possibly damaging our vehicle if we did something incorrectly, especially since they were calling us anyway. It all worked out but communication on something that is not widely known could have been much better.

The Iris is actually a small complex of apartments in an up and coming area of Charleston. It's very close to King Street and walkable to many shops and restaurants. There is a free bus that runs around the popular area of Charleston and there is a stop nearby the Iris. It was super hot when we were there, so I did ride the bus to get to the City Market about 1.5 miles away and the stop near the Iris was easy to find and access. Our dog friendly apartment was on the ground floor (a definite plus), was really laid out well and had tons of upscale things (Dyson hair dryer!). There was also a really nice welcome bag with wine, chocolate and other treats waiting for us on arrival. We loved the Iris and would definitely stay here again.

The only problem we encountered was if more than 1 vehicle was coming / going out the stacked garage. That happened once so not too big of an issue.

This place was beautiful! Upper king location is popping! We had a great time staying at the Iris. It was clean, modern, chic, and all around thoughtful to simple needs like coffee ❤️ I’d definitely stay here again

Carousel parking is a bit scary - it's quite narrow, but still- it's cool that the hotel has one.

Everything was great! The apartment is clean and modern, location is nice - near downtown, looking good, and the service is super friendly. The Dyson hair dryer, few coffees and creams and the welcome gift make yours stay even better. The Irys Hotel is a place to stay.
