Quaint quite and quality

Nothing it was perfect

I wish I had known breakfast was only included if we booked through their site and not 3rd party

Everything we needed was there. Good facilities. Overall very enjoyable.

Bed, although very comfortable was a bit high! Some confusion about whether breakfast was included - welcome email said breakfast would be delivered to room, but apparently we didn’t order it!! Some noise from neighbouring room. It would also have been good to know that adjacent restaurant (not opposite, as stated, but a bit down the road, and down a long drive) closed at 8:30z. Also (seemingly in common with many places) no provision for tea drinkers ( tea bags / milk).

My wife and I liked the location, close to town and main highway. We liked the set-up of the rooms, along with the coffee/tea/goodies room downstairs. Parking was easy too. Communication with the staff was easy and they were polite and professional.

Now this is just me, the bed was a bit firm for my taste but it was fine. I'm being nitpicky here so don't take it as a negative.

We would have liked a kettle in the room to make tea . Just a small point!

A pace to relax quietly

Felt like I stepped back into 2020 at the height of covid. Faceless ghosts of the staff.

We liked the location, the house it’s beautiful and well maintained just like in the picture, there is attention to detail easy check in the bad comfortable and the room is clean and beautiful

Upon our arrival, we were not given clear instructions about where the public areas of the house were located. This lack of guidance became especially problematic given the cold weather during our stay. The communal area was uncomfortably cold, and we were left unsure of how to properly heat the space. It would have been helpful if staff had provided more information about the heating system or alternative areas to relax in.

Very private facility( house ),charming, cozy settings. Cute deco. Free coffee and cookies in the common area.

bed and pillows were not comfortable, too soft(?) or worn out. I had back , sholder and neck pains, still suffering !! No thermostat for the heat, had to get up during the night to turn off manually. (Room went from cold when we went to bed, to too hot while sleeping with non stop hot air) Hair dryer in the room didn't work. By the time the guy brought the new one, it was too late, I had to go out ,late for appt (No on site manager)

Location parking room was cute

The bed was uncomfortable! The fireplace didn’t work! Very difficult to get the TV to work and watch anything we wanted to watch!

Such an adorable spacious room. Very quiet, I appreciated the sound machine. The room was well equipped with even a filled water in a carafe in the refrigerator! The location is great—just outside of town but walking distance. I really appreciated how accommodating the staff were. I had a major food allergy and they were accommodating in providing me with an alternative breakfast, which is much appreciated. I had a really lovely stay.

The bathroom was outside the room. Would be helpful to have a railing on both sides of the stairwell going down in the main house. People usually carry suitcases with right arm and support with left on railing. That was tough.

Really lovely Inn, beautifully decorated. Bed really comfortable. Tea coffee and cookies available all day which was nice. Breakfast delivered in a hamper in the morning was nice too.

Couldn't get phone reception so had to go to the hotel across the road to get WiFi so we could get the keypad code to get into our room. Might be good to put the WiFi code in the window for new guests. Staff answered any questions quickly via WhatsApp but it does seem odd not to see/meet any staff. We stayed for 2 nights instead of the planned 1 but there was no housekeeping, apparently you need to ask if you want your room cleaned but no one told us that.

Delicious inn in a very quiet village immersed in the fog ( at the end of August) which gave it a mysterious/ romantic atmosphere.It was really worth the stay! Every detail was very well attended in the room. the staff was very kind and contacted me a couple of weeks prior to our arrival. It's a self check in place.

The walls are thin and despite the silence hours from 10 pm to 7 am our room neighbour kept the tv volume very high..we kindly asked him to lower it but it gave no results..

The room was clean and well-appointed. It is centrally located. The gardens were beautiful.
