Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe room could use some drawers for clothing and the glass window on the bathroom door was a new experience.
The Jesse has a great location in the brewery district. The room was spacious and well appointed. Nice to have two chairs in the room, which even though right above the bar, was well sound proofed.

United StatesI went on a Thursday and apparently it's dj night. My walls were shaking and it was very loud and didn't stop until after 11. Couldn't even hear my TV but the music was good so I'm not complaining. After the dj was done it was very quiet.
I like the renovations, they did an excellent job. Very spacious and comfortable. Very clean and staff was very nice.

United StatesIt was rather noisy, but that comes with older buildings in downtown locations. We did appreciate that there was a white noise machine and ear plugs.
The hotel is in a fun area , has great style, and large rooms.

United StatesThe only thing the room was missing was a full length mirror. There is a lot of homeless all around including hanging around by the parking lot, which is not the hotels fault, but I did see the management walking through the parking lot to keep a watch on things on two different occasions which we appreciated.
The management and staff were all very friendly and helpful. The whole hotel had a great vibe. The room was beautiful, comfortable, spacious and clean. The bathroom products were great.

United StatesNo complaints!
We loved all the little touches, the recycled water bottles, the robes, the slippers, real houseplants, and quality bath products. The restaurant downstairs had amazing fish tacos and individual pies. Great staff, I will definitely stay here again, it's a hidden gem!

United StatesLocation is awful but will hopefully improve over time. The city needs to spend money on helping the homeless and not building more crappy empty casinos. There is are plenty of empty buildings surplus to requirements. Towels a little scratchy.
This is an excellent hotel. The modern interior is spacious and stylish with perhaps the best bed I have slept on.

United StatesParking is tight, but the property does its best to reserve spaces for overnight guests. No parking was available when we arrived but a reserved spot opened within an hour or so.
Hard to imagine a more central location without staying inside a casino. Great views of the casinos and excellent 'people watching' from the room. Very large room with excellent sound insulation. Enormous shower; great wifi; the bar is fantastic too.

United StatesThe location is scary. There were lots of homeless in the area and many with serious mental disorders The staircase was very steep. This was a problem for my 88 year old husband.
The room was wonderful. It had great light and was well appointed. I loved the brick walls. The shower was great! The restaurant and bar was very good. Great Margaritas!

United StatesI booked over a month early. When we arrive we are told to check in at the bar. There is no front desk and the man there said he’d just taken over the business that week. I clicked pay at property and for two days prior to arriving they tried charging my card. When we checked in they charged my card twice! Which overdraft my account and ruined my trip. I’m still waiting on a refund three days later. I may have to contact my bank and the better business bureau. The bar and restaurant was closed even after telling us that is open upon booking. And there was zero staff there the two days we stayed lucky we didn’t need anything
The room was beautiful

United StatesThe bathroom door was mostly window and if the room door was opened you could see directly into the bathroom. The location did not make me feel safe. The property was surrounded for blocks by unhoused people clearly in need of assistance. This is not a safe hotel for a single person who will be on foot seeing the city. I did not feel safe leaving the Jesse after dark because of the amount of unhoused people in it’s proximity.
The bar and staff were nice. The room was and bed were clean and comfortable.

United StatesRight across from the noisy bus station. At least it quieted down after 11PM. Beeping buses backing up at 6AM. I was on the third floor--no elevator. Kind of a pain dragging my bag upstairs.
Very nice little hotel. The room was beautiful. Great restaurant and bar downstairs. Friendly staff. Easy parking.
